this is by far the most ugly, bulky least desirable phone sony has made so far. 236g?? WTF??!
I mean, they ask a premium price for a 4K (in a 16:9 ratio??) in a resulution you don´t need, A dual camera (you several phones already using and producing goo results). It´s a Sony......They don´t care about the market they just do want they want as always...
You have to be a hard core Sony phone to even consider buying one of these... If money is no object go for the modern Galaxy Note 9
It´s the end of the line for Sony,

Iphone 8 is brighter, has much better sunlight contrast ratio (3957 vs 2867) and is much more color accurate (1.1 vs 4.1)

Because using stars is the dumbest rating system in existence, same goes for rating something out of 5 or out 10 or using bronze, silver or gold ratings, especially when reviewing some form of technology. It does not help to indicate improvements over time as technology advances.

The first time I've seen this phone, I thought it looked strange from the back, not ugly but not beautiful either, but in reality it's really elegant, Sony knows how to design phones (even though it doesn't follow the trends and that's not an issue for me).
The weight and thickness could have been better though, that's mainly due to the fact that's this is the first version of this design.
The camera however is among the best for sure, video recording is the strongest feature of this camera (and the best in the smartphone industry) but stills are also great.
