I give you the benefit of the doubt and assume that you are talking about the iPhone 8 Plus, which is still lighter than your dear XZ2P by 30g. And it has a better battery endurance than XZ2P despite a much smaller batter. Check your facts first.

Z3 without any updates by 2years didn't lag, no problems whatsoever. Xz is much slower so after few drinks I made update to 8.0 and finished with Japanise brick. Unusable...
Im just waiting on proper Sony model but there is nothing good as z3 out of box.

Factors I like about this device:
*Camera
*LCD display
*Stereo speakers
*Software
What I don't like:
*Same body language (Come on, Sony)
*Huge phone to bring everywhere
*Price, obviously.

The phone is perfect in all aspects except it lacks 256 GB as base storage.64 Gb is not Premium.

Sony fanboys are something special. They never cease to amaze in their blind love for Sony, accusing GSM of bias! If you think that then go bugger off somewhere else. Truth is nobody is feeling the love for these underpar devices from Sony. They simply can't match the competition. Sony should close the smartphone division down and stick to making camera modules. They simply aren't selling enough. Not because they aren't good devices but because the competition is making GREAT devices.

I am all for thicker phones if they have big battery but i have no idea why is this phone thickest in its class and still has small battery

I see a lot of people bad mouthing this phone in this comment section so my part I want to tell them.
Sony is much better than your precious brands.
OIS isn't needed and yes it has noise with details more the ones who OIS and doesn't know details like the S9/S9+ and the note9.
It is wroth the 1000 when others are doing the same.

So this gave 77 hours then it's a progress. Also this is LCD display which some people say this the same display as the LG G7's which has the 1000 nits so please stop being biased.

The low light video is worth the $1000 dollars, and they have removed the jack so that we use their Hi-Res Bluetooth headphones. Anyway, you can always use the dongle they provide you with.
Coming to heating and throttling, this phone can record 4k as long as you want, samsung limits you to 10 minutes.
no phone records 4k in HDR
Adding to it, Sony introduced the glass sandwich design and waterproofing, so i would say samsung copy it.

You can complain about whatever you want but you gotta admit that this is one of the very rares genuine design that remain out there, and it will survive the Notch Apocalypse.
But yes, no OIS on a nearly 1000$ device and a so-called 4K screen that run 1080P 90% of the time.
And considering how THICK it is, that 3.5mm jack should be here.
