This 5Z review by GSMArena is the most sick one ever amongst those I've had witnessed till date.

5z is gud phone.
Main drawback is small battery (3300mah).
If I pair back camera with gcam then it is better than OnePlus 6t back camera paired with gcam. Front cam not that good. Since I don't take selfie that much it doesn't affect me that much.processor is powerful. UI is smooth and so good. I like this UI. Gaming also smooth (sd 845). Build quality awesome. I think Touch wasn't that gud when it was released . Bt I recently it got many touch updates and I think it got improved in touch too. Phone is so quick. Display quality also good. I like its design too. Overall very good Phone.

When watching YouTube and trying to rotate the video it doesn't seem to work a lot of the time. And the cameras are pretty bad. Especially the selfie one which they didn't talk about. The selfie camera when taking videos reverses the image and you can't change it for videos only for pictures. Another bug is with just swiping really crazily and everywhere some of the animations just get stuck on the screen. And my final complaint is that the battery and cooling just suck, it gets hot and doesn't last long when playing games. I got this for $320 but it is still just is a very poor experience overall.

Here in Colombia is at 275 dollars, i just bought it. I knows that the camera may not be the best, but may be The GCam improves it.
Hopefully it comes with old firmware, i Need it to fly on pokémon go, if it comes with the latest fw and the camera is worse than my iPhone X, i think i will sell it again.

The Asus ZenFone 5 z is probably the best phone I have ever had . The battery saving options are better than any other phone I have had . There are 4 options the Max one disables the wifi and mobile data while keeping the phone,SMS and clock/ alarm awake at this setting I get 5 days standby which I just love as I hate charging phones. One of the best features has to be the AI boost which combines WiFi and mobile data for downloading for extremely fast downloads. The screen covers the whole face of the phone except for the smallest of small border. This phone gives big name phones a run for their money at half the price. I can't recommend the zenfone 5 z more highly
I am in the process of buying one for my wife . I will do another review when I have used the phone for about a month or two

battry drain so fast in pubg and over heating while games.Plz fix this issue in update add dtsx ultra and dolby atmos in update plz Asus Tek.

Teufelsberg, 19 Nov 2019Pretty harsh review for otherwise a fair and good phone, es... moreIt's simply not a good phone, powerful , yes, high build quality, also yes, but if ur not priority yourself in gaming, i suggest you don't purchase this device, its user experience is just poor, even after the Android 10 update it's still lags and stutter in a simple opening and closing apps, and there's still some bug in the animation and transition which make the phone just less enjoyable to use

I had purchased Asus Zenfone 5Z with 6GB RAM and 128GB ROM But very Bad performance phone in comparison of all the equivalent Mi, Lenovo, Vivo, Samsung. Not connected with Whatsapp. Very Slow Processor and taking long time to connect with applications like Whatsapp, Facebook etc. Not Value for Money. My rating on this phone is only 1 star.

Pretty harsh review for otherwise a fair and good phone, especially the camera review.
Wouldn't want to contradict anything else but the bloatware weak point - not even close to other devices heavy loaded bloatware. At least on 5z you can easily uninstall them.
