Easily, one of the top contenders for the most terrible and ill-conceived phone of all time.
Never has a phone compromised on so many essential important features and made such poor decisions. It has practically copied the bad aspects of every other phone and made them into a worse product.
Even the design, something that most phones play safe, is plain horrible. What were the design team thinking with the horrible notch and large chin. Did it achieve any tangible benefit?
Probably the camera with the HDR+ is the only good part. Hopefully, the Night Sight will be something as awesome as Huawei's Night Mode.

actualy there is at leas one small diference, on pxel 1 the Pie doesn't have the emergency shortcut on the power button

I'm already looking forward to the Pixel 4 with Android 10 (Quiche), 128 GB as the BASE model, 6 or 8 GB RAM, and an extra camera lens on the back. Could be an all-new design unless Google copies Apple and uses the same design for FOUR generations.

You can put all you raw photos in there. And all your movies your talking about, you dont see them all same time. You can store them on cloud, and put offline the ones you want to see if you will not have wifi where your going (everest? Rain forest?) . Cloud or NAS+pixel 3 still cheaper than iphone xs max 512Gb and way more flexible anda way more space.

Google probably released their design team. Extreme ugly notch on Pixel 3 XL, boring design, silly rounded corners on display and still missing 3,5 mm jack. So sad, so bad.

The biggest reasons I just pre-ordered the Pixel 3 XL (64 GB), to replace my broken P20 Pro:
1. Native Android!!!!
2. Free unlimited cloud storage through 01/2022
3. Camera
4. Screen is pretty rad too (was totally OK with the notch on my P20 Pro an this is much better resolution)
Sure there are phones out there that look better or have a couple features P3XL doesn't. But they don't have native android and no UX will be as good or polished as using native. I have big hands and really love the P20 pro, but it's only $160 less than the P3XL and doesn't have the cloud storage (which at $10/month is a $400 value). I'm also interested in checking out the 6 months of youtube music as Pandora (long time paid subscriber) has been pissing me off this year.
My biggest concern with the P3XL is battery life. The P20 pro is great (I get 2 1/2 days out of it on full charge), and I'm expecting worse from the P3XL due to smaller battery and higher resolution screen. Planning on getting the inductive stand for my desk at work to help mitigate this but I"m hopeful I can at least get by if I forget to charge it once and a while at night (I do this about once a week...).
Anyway I bought one today, can't wait to try it out. All the comments are so negative on here... lol
