Oppo Find X Lamborghini Edition review

22 October 2018
Few brands say exclusivity, high performance, and stunning looks quite like Italian car maker Lamborghini. So when you hear of the Oppo Find X Lamborghini Edition, you know it's no ordinary smartphone.

This one is a joke. The use of the Lamborghini logo on fake carbon fiber and they pretend that you pay that much... lol, a joke. An expensive fake phone that even don't let you pay due to the lack of NFC. They should have added the engine start sound each time you lift the camera to make it more ridiculous. Like the cheap tunned cars.

If I'm too inclined to have a phone with a car brand on it, I'd get a phone that suits me best, get a slim case, buy a car logo (or just pluck one out) and stick it to the case.. there you go!

Kiyasuriin, 22 Oct 2018You forgot also No expansion and no 3.5mm jack AS STANDARD!... moreThis two no longer is standard especially 3.5mm jack will be soon became special feature. Oops! :p

As for storage as high as 512GB which is far than enough, expansion card is not required.

You forgot also No expansion and no 3.5mm jack AS STANDARD! geez.

AnonD-632062, 22 Oct 2018Will be exciting to see how SuperVOOC performs in the Oppo ... moreYeah, especially when you know that it does pack a massive 3700mAh, SuperVOOC enabled battery. I'm curious about that third camera.

WELL honnestly the gradiant blue/bordeau trim looks way better than this [Fake] carbon fiber.

The point is that it's not even genuine carbon fiber, not even for the case.
For the price, that's a bit lame. At least Kevlar like on the Armored Pocophone F1, but no, just glass. This remind me of the "Ceramic look" of the Mate 10 Porsche Design. Cheap.

About SuperVOOC, it's also available on the Super Flash, Regular Find X, which come with the same 3400mAh battery that charges in about 30min, but it's 700 bucks cheaper and it does have the gorgeous, iconic gradient back pannel.

It's ''only'' have 256GB of storage, but this still should be plenty enough.

And about the software, we all agree that Nova launcher is gonna replace default ColorOS or this discutable "Lambo" theme straight out of the box.

So, in my opinion, if you want the most genuine, the most iconic Oppo Find X experience, just go for the SuperFlash version. Okay maybe with the Lamborghini Plug adapter, because it's quite nice with it's "Arancio" orange cable. But that's about it.

A gradiant orange finish with metallic paint (WITH ACTUAL LAMBO PAINT) would have been gorgeous, but this fake carbon fiber ? Meh

I really like the design of this phone. Hiding cameras on both sides. Too bad it's not really available in Ireland.
That said, the ultra-sleek design must be a bit of a slide-off-a-table-by-itself when it's new. Normally a little rear camera hump is a good "anchor" to keep a phone from "hovering" off a flat table while the oleophobic treatment is fresh. :)

Will be exciting to see how SuperVOOC performs in the Oppo R17 Pro.

One thing that is a bit of a disadvantage is the slow speeds you get with even other Fast chargers, including their own VOOC charger.

It's funny though that among the Find X's competitors of iPhone XS Max, Mate 20 RS Porsche Design and Galaxy Note9, the latter is easily the best among them despite being a lot cheaper even in the 512GB/8GB RAM variant.

I'm not feeling it and those earbuds are huuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuge.

Am i the only one who finds the regular Find X better looking? The carbon fiber back doesn't look as fancy as the shiny color-changing edges on the regular Find X...
