Google Pixel 3 review

Bringing the small Pixel into the now with a tall display and less wasted space, we have this year's Google Pixel 3. Updated glass build and a couple of selfie cameras mark the other key changes compared to the 2017 vintage.

I loved my Google pixel 3 until this last update, now I cant screenshot.. I do alot of screenshots and editing for my coloring.
I guess it's time to switch to the iphone.

    But if you aren't keen on gaming, consider pixel 4a. Better battery and longer software update sacrificing glass build and IP rating.

        Used the pixel 3 for one year 4 months this. Now the battery has expanded. Need to replace the battery. Battery is there but the connectors are not there that is what the repair shop is saying. Very bad quality phone if you have to replace the battery so soon. Power button is also very tight to operate. Overall not a great phone. Do not buy.

            It's a phone but sometimes it freezes and you can't answer it!!!!!

              This phone is dump, after a year of usage the battery is completely fried. Poor call quality. Refurb/replacement situation is a nightmare, shuffling broken phones. I have been using Android phones since the Droid this is by far the worse product the former Moto devs have created.

                Everything that GSMARENA does is perfect about revieing all aspects (Mostly). But the main objective of smart phone camera is taking human/pets/things pics. They mostly move. So the action shots are pretty important. If they just add this small sub category it would really help. What say. Stable object any **Phone can handle. Kids , pets they don't. Action shots thats what we need.

                  I'm very disappointed with pixel 3. I purchase my new pixel 3 March 2019. From March through August of 2019. I Have had Five Pixel 3 replacement phone with in a month or so with the same issue the speaker half the time won't work or click in, Phone calls are not going through, My camera freezes up. I keep addressing the issue with Verizon about the defective phones they keep sending me Pixel 3, Telling me as long as they have Pixel 3 instock then they will continue sending me refurbished phones. Why not send me a different device. So so tired of this issue ready to change companies.

                    I was looking forward to learning about my new Pixel 3. I had bought the protection plan, as well as the hard plastic case the sales team at Verizon recommend. 3 weeks later it slipped from my hand falling approximately 3' to the floor, (wood). Resulting in a spider web that crossed the entire screen. Verizon had me contact " ubreakifix", they fixed the screen, But something was wrong, when I started a conversation, an echo would begin followed by no sound being transmitted from my end, after several phone calls to Verizon, it was replaced. I immediately went to Verizon to get a glass cover, the one recommend by Verizon staff, the sales team attached the glass cover properly. You guessed it, in 3 weeks it has single crack running right to left! Just about dead center, I'm not that hard on phones! Very poor reinforcement, without tensile strength, you are just wasting everybody's time and money!

                      Worst phone ever used does any one else have trouble while talking on phone constant drop out person on other end can't hear conversation worst phone ever

                        Having trouble with incoming calls dropping out with the pixel 3 had this problem with the other pixel 3 and been replaced with a new one but still having the same problem ... any suggestions .... little disappointed in the phone.. my older phone didnt do this ...and it was a LG G6

                          The Phone is having very low Ring Tone Volume. I sent the phone for service with in three days of purchase regarding the low ring volume issue. After a week , they are saying that they have checked the volume and it is as per the standard. I asked them what is their standard decibels but they dont know about decibel and they dont have any standard over that. The person told me that when he hear the Ring Tone it seems to be ok for him!! now they are sending back my phone. No replacement. My God! what a fool i am.

                              Nope, not convincing. You can't list "good battery life" on the "Pros" list. 69h endurance rating is a bad joke for the price tag (what'd you expect for a S845 with OLED powered by a 2915mAh?). "Awesome camera"... Really? All the software trickery won't make up for specs when it comes to the camera. OIS is good, but won't do wonders.
                              Doesn't sounds like an honest review, to be honest.
                              A good phone at the €250 - €300 price range, but nowhere near adequate for current prices. (£639 here in the UK). Much better (camera, screen and battery altogether) phones to be bought at the price.

                                Do you buy numbers or user experience and results?
                                Do you buy a phone just to press the "Test" button in Antutu?

                                If you want numbers... go to Huawei... first 7nm... 50% better performance compared to iPhone XS... this kind of advertising (FALSE advertising).

I'm sure you also think that Instagram is better than flickr and that your + $1000 phone replaces a real camera because it costs more than that. Those profit loving companies like Facebook, Google and Apple need customers like you very much.

                                        Bad phone, it is ridiculous the score it gets with all these shortcomings. Huawei Mate 20 pro is so much better, even Xiaomi Mi8 is better which is much cheaper. Lots of better alternatives including iPhones, I don't really get the reason pixel get all the attention, they are just mediocre in everything.
