Isn't the Samsung A-series just a royal mess - even numbers, odd numbers, pluses sprinkled here and there, and a year stamp to top it all off. Let's go ahead and see what the Galaxy A7 (2018) is exactly and who it's for.

Not bad at all for a phone that only costs 300 dollars.

    There is choice to buy an LG G6, v20, v30.

      Like new iPhone,we can use 5V/2A to boost up battery also.Ok?Ha ha...

        5V/1.55A is not a problem.Why? Because we can use an 5V/2A to power up battery.Totally is fine.Ha ha...,very funny.I think have some people don't like Sammy,so wrote bad things.Be smart...!

          It's good they don't use notches! Notches are ugly!
          Hope they keep it that way (but afraid they won't)

          More phones for one handed use please. What's wrong with a 5.2 inch with infinity display?
          It's still a phone.
          Use your tablet if you wan't a bigger screen.

            Most Samsung phone cameras always have a watercolour or plastic look to trees and grass,even flagships. Horrible

              Samsung is gonna be downfall like Nokia. Overpriced gadget with terrible feature. This time losing to chinese brands.

                  Though, I had not used an OLED phone yet, but its potential to be used more efficiently looks inspiring to me)
                  And I have my eye rather on SGA9-2018 than A7 =) Though I wish it would be with less cameras and SD710 to at least more efficiency)

                    Completely pointless phone that nobody asked for or wants. Wake me up when Samsung bother to release an A3 2018.

                                    drake parker, 09 Nov 2018Uh then what exactly makes this a "good" phone? It has 3.5mm jack, good display, micro sd slot ,NFC ,Triple camera .... But if we can get Honor play and poco F1 for the same price then it's not worth our money .

                                      -Great battery life.
                                      -Excellent display overall.
                                      -No FUGLY NOTCH
                                      -Crooked as this one may be, an ultra wide angle camera is hard to find in this segment.
                                      -DEDICATED microsd slot as STANDARD
                                      -3.5mm jack as STANDARD
                                      -DualSIM
                                      -NFC support
                                      -FM Radio support

                                      There, editor, fixed it for you.

                                        As expected, the cameras are mediocre. I expect the A9s to perform on par with this, except with the addition of a lower quality Telephoto camera.

                                        In any case, this is clearly not a good purchase. We have plenty of great value phones available today, and choosing this over them is not very intelligent.

                                        Don't get me wrong, i have nothing against Samsung. Their flagships are great, but their mid-rangers aren't.
