A shame not sold in Australia. Hope Samsung make something of this size. They should make a Note 10 and Note 10+

Otherwise you can also look at the Mate 20 (non-pro). It has a 3.5mm jack and relatively better battery endurance.

I think it's an excellent phablet indeed. The primary problem with it is that it's too big for most people. I know there are some people who want oversized phones, and they'll love this one for sure. For the rest of us though, The Mate 20 or Pro is more preferable.
Aside from the size, it's a fulfilling phone in every way. The battery endurance is highly enticing. Then there's the brilliant camera setup & a seemingly attractive screen (resolution isn't everything). I kinda dig this phone overall.

What happened in low light in the compare tool? The Mate 20 X vs Mate 20 pro is always notably softer. Almost like it's not quite in focus. (Letters, SpongeBob, elastic bands, bracelet, donkey patch and heart at the bottom left corner. Only the pink fluff seems to be in X's favour)

Shriker, 30 Jan 2019"If you really need to shoot in 40MP - you can do it - but ... moreI realised that too. If you look closely at the patterns on the building it's painfully obvious that in 40MP mode the camera resolves far finer textures than in 10MP, but for some reasons GSMArena decided to ignore that and instead talked about how it can look noisier when you pixel peep it. I laughed so hard when I read "the resolved detail is nothing impressive" - clearly they had no idea what they were seeing themselves.
As for the lack of detail in 10MP, it occurs because Mate 20 Pro's sensor has a quad bayer array, which means it has 4 pixels of the same color are grouped together so that they can form 1 giant pixel when necessary. So its 10MP image is not being downsampled from higher 40MP image, but instead the whole image is being TAKEN in 10MP resolution, which is the native resolution of this sensor.. On top of that the software applies tons of sharpening to the 10MP image, so the detail level becomes a lot lower.

Proof that there is no replacement for displacement. It's good they didn't bother with a 3000mah battery and claim SoC efficiency and software optimisation. Just put in the biggest possible battery that's safely and physically possible and design the phone around this crucial component. If modern phones, be it budget or flagship, can't break the 100 hour barrier, there's just no point in introducing them.
