i think overall, the best picture quality is camera C...even tho the far shots seems to be a little blurry...

I think C is the Nokia n95 as I noticed the higher contrast and
also the pixel correction near the tips of the trees and sky..
it may be over saturated with color but in this test, i think
it wins.
but in dark the Sony E. may perform better because of the xenon
flash,so every device has its pros and cons, and i think the final
decision on which device`s camera is better depends on other
factors too like other camera options, storage, speed of storage
camera interface, type of flash, performance of autofocus and
macro moods...etc and not forgetting the phone features itself,
so its not only a matter of few distant focus images taken in day
light to decide which camera phone to get.

What's all the hype about C? I found its colours extremely dark in almost every case, making the photos seem unlively and unattractive. I think A deserves the title of winner. Read allan's review, he has it right on the money

I had a very detailed look at each individual photo, and after comparing all the groups of the same type of image, found that the winning order from groups 1 to 6 is: C, B, A, B, A, D, D. It is obvious that there is a tie between A, B and D, so I compared the factors in each case that allowed each letter to win, and eliminated D, for only scoring well in colour. After another detailed look at all photos that A and B took, it seems that A takes the gold for colour, clarity, and noise handeling, while B can only boast on good contrast, especially notable between sky and trees.

My Findings are as follows.
1)C,A,B,D

I understand that the colors in C are a little away from normal but in most cases i enjoy the contrast and life it gives to the images. C should look better in print.
I also note that images from A are the most noise free even in 100% Crops with C coming in second.
I guess:
A - Sony Ericsson K850
B - Samsung G600
C - Nokia N95 8GB
D - LG KU990 Viewty
I believe Nokia N82 would do a better job than all these.
Please include it in this review.
I own a K790 and was a devoted Sony Ericsson fan eagerly waiting for the K850 until it came along with all sorts of issues and N95 8GB and N82 arrived with most Nokia issues fixed.
Looking to buy a N82 now as i am a Power User and my K790 or any other java based phones are just not capable enough. I love my K790 though.

what we need to see are 'dark pub' and flash/no flash in a room with filament & striplights... this realy brings out the shortcomings of the camera!!

It's really clear that C is the N95 and its pics sure look the best. It stands out from the crowd so much that all the Nokia haters (=SE fanboys) vote it the worst.

Yeah, that's my ranking!!
"A" is the hero. Natural and detailed photos.
"B", I must say, i'm surprised at the sharpness levels of "B". I guess it the Samsung, because it tends to oversharpen the image. and it has good contrast levels. Does deserve some praises.
"C" is too vivid and oversaturated.
"D" is just fine, no details and a bit dull.
Ok, here is the BIG Surprise..!!

C = Nokia N95-8GB
D = LG KU920 Viewty
