I got mine on local market for roughly 360$ because of currencies differences. I actually like the U notch, it is enough small to be forgotten, and it's hidden when I look at videos. The fingerprint scanner is a pain to use, and the face unlock doesn't seem that much reliable. I use the old pattern system.

    I think the review score should be much higher than 3.7/5 considering it does not have any major drawbacks.

    But right now, I'm holding out for the A60 mainly due to the punch-hole display and traditional fingerprint scanner.

      buy this of you want gaming, perfectly accurate touch screen and 7~9 hours sot depends on what game you play.

        As much as I wanted this A50 to be compared to the RN7Pro but I know that GSMArena will having hard time buying it because there's currently no official Global Version.

          matix, 19 Apr 2019You wrote that A50 don't have IP68 but other sources like A... moreIt's because Samsung's first announcement with A series have ingress protection so the websites initially added it in its specs but when the phone has finally released, there was no IP rating and Samsung and Youtube reviewers were pretty much updated about this by mentioning it in actual reviews articles and videos. The problem was that most websites were not actively updating their data so believe what actual reviews were saying and not the specifications data you find in othe sites.

              You wrote that A50 don't have IP68 but other sources like Android Authority and Phonearena say that it has, moreover as far as I remember on your hands-on with A50 you also wrote that it has ingress protection, but since then it has been removed, even then you say that none of new A lineup has IP68 and in the same hands-on you can read that A30 has it so you give conflicting information, so somebody made a mistake, I hope for clarification, thanks!

                    My assumption is that in 12 megapixel mode pixel binning is used, so you might get upscaled 6 megapixel photos in 12 megapixel mode.
