For that price, it is INEXCUSABLE. It must be there as STANDARD regardless of price. There is MORE THAN ENOUGH SPACE in OnePlus 6T's design to have the jack at the top if they "can't do" it at the bottom!! Statements like this "excusable" reason "encourages" manufacturers to drop 3.5mm jack quicker!!

No :1 developer brand. Quality is top notch. If you want other gimmicks go spend 300-400$ more. Compare with the rubbish F1 ? Come on !! You can't compare BMW with Tata :)

In my country, the 6T and Note9 have the same prices. Same prices!
Yet the Note9 has insanely more features than the 6T. SD card, 3.5mm jack with AKG earphones, stereo speakers, IP68, pen, 2K AMOLED with no stupid notch, tele camera, MUCH better primary camera, wireless charging, 4000mAh battery, more sensors, more colors, man so many features I'm tired of even mentioning them.
OnePlus are nothing but mid-range phones from A to Z, just with flagship SoC. And that's it. I don't know why are they a thing.

Its expensive. Lack of headphone jack is big no excuse at least for next 5 years. Its fine they dont have one, we dont buy one.

Not agreed with review.
Camera on my op6 is great and 6t uses the same , its better than one on the xr .
I like my op6 and wish that i would have waited for op6t.

Also, if most of these features are not required by a user then why bother with a phone with premium pricing.

I'm still very annoyed that there are no reviews about the audio quality that device provides while using wire headphones. I've been struggling with the constant dropping to half of its potential (which is not very loud from the beginning) randomly while using Spotify. Contacted op customer service - they advised me to update my device and make sure that I have the latest version of Spotify (which ofc I have). The overall experience with this phone is more than great but if I would know about audio issue (and completely lack of support from op) I wouldn't have spent 600 euros on this thing.

1. I don't require headphone jack. I use bluetooth earphones.
2. Don't need micro sd. Too much internal space.
3. I take care of my phones and always have ADP on my handet so don't need IP rating.
4. Wireless charging is bad. Dash charge is awesome so don't need wireless.
5. Do need better camera

You can actually get a port of the Google Camera 2 app for the phone at the xda forums, and night sight is far superior to the standard implementation. Also, if it's really important for you to have the latest Android security patch, you can just switch to the beta program, which is updated twice a month.

And I say that if you want all the things that the guru's say should be on the phone, go pay $1000.00 for one! Then, you get all the bells and whistles, until you read the reviews here and they always find something wrong with every phone. Always!!! I have this phone, and almost every other phone out there (it's a hobby with me). This is as good a phone as they make. You don't like the camera? Import the Pixel camera to it! But quit bitchin' about a $569 phone not equalling a $1000 phone!

The main Camera image quality is acceptable for it's price it's biggest cons are:
1. No Headphone Jack
2. No Micro SD slot
3. No IP rating
4. No wireless charging.
5. No Ultrawide or Telephoto camera.

Nah. OP phones are slowly getting too costly for what they offer. Even proper flagships like the LG G7 and Vivo NEX cost the same as the 6T, offering better cameras and same processors. OverPriced for a flagship killer.

So and so. Decent battery, nice design. But the camera is pure trash. Too noisy results. It's worse than Pocophone F1. And Poco F1 can get even better results with Google Camera port.

No headphone jack is still a big con for me. Even the same case with op7.
