It also offers decent hardware for the price. Nothing special but it is cheap and can do everything you could ask for, basically.

One of the best phones in this year!
Nice to see some sensible quality phones released. The only thing missing is the memory slot, but 60Gb is guite a lot to most users.

Seriously?
You need to try using a wider selection of phones to see just why the 'claim to fame' of Pixel phones (camera, software updates) are not exactly 'rare' in the Android world. If there's anything rare here, it's the exorbitant price for such a mediocre smartphone package: low specs with NO dual SIM, NO micro sd expansion, low battery capacity (below 4000mAh), mediocre midrange processor. Get some other phone, any brand/model at this Pixel phone's price and you are bound to get a way much better deal.

Of course you can pay the same, more or even less for phones with better all round specs & benchmarks. Google says fine go ahead but you can't beat this phone for the camera & OS support at this price, and still have a phone that runs fine for most people barring benchmark watchers. That's the point of this phone which makes it a winner for me. The headphone jack is a great bonus these days.

Don't get confused, the regular models DID cost 700/800, but went down in price heavily after release! They are now 550/600 new at where I live. Compared to 400/480 you lose too much to justify this price. The 3a should have a 710 or 712 like the 3a XL for the hefty pricetag of 400. And no I'm not making prices up here. The Xiaomi mi9 is 430 over here, offering a 855, better cam than Pixel3, Dual SIM, 6GB RAM. Also, I am using a regular pixel 3 right now: awful product for the pricetag. I understand that people preffer Apple for this reason, same price, better product...I think I will go xiaomi or oneplus after the pixel. Can't reccomend google phones at all.

99% people who buys phones with microSD-supported NEVER bothered using Cloud Storage service. They just need to remove the microSD and replace it with another one to get more storage with MUCH CHEAPER price (compared to Cloud storage costs annually).
True that GDrive offers 15 GB free space, but DOES PEOPLE ONLY use that much?
No way, that's the reason why storage manufacturers (Samsung, Sandisk) keeps making bigger and bigger storage card, up to 1TB as of now.
For me, the first deal-breaker when deciding whether to buy the phone is EXTERNAL STORAGE support, and then 3.5 mm jack slot.
Without these 2, a smartphone is just another DUMB PHONE similar to Nokia 3310 back in 2000s

what that needs to talk about is $200 specs phone selling for $400+. nothing is worth for this overprice phone. maybe because its name by google. not selling here
