The Samsung Galaxy A70 raises the bar within the new A series - a completely reimagined lineup to lead a full-scale war in the midrange kingdom. And the rule of the Chinese makers is very much threatened, having already seen what the A40 and A50 are capable of.

      AnonD-867344, 31 Jul 2019is gaming performance good on it to play games like ark and... moreone thing i am sure its not built to play fornite game at all ..... it heated badly only once not because of gaming , because of one heavy application (3d t-rex dinosaur animation app in camera) , recording with t-rex animation not geniun at all, ...
      suitable temperature is 18*c to 45*c (not use on direct sunlight when hot weather is the situation thats above 50*c )...magnificent 1080p youtube experience with 60fps is the reason why this smartphone was built ... if you are pro gamer (premium midranger) , i prefer go for snapdragon 855 which is easily found on readme k20 pro ... or if you want all rounder premium midranger smartphone with high quality battery , than a70 is the way to go for .... have fun

          Honestly don't have a problem with this phone. Their is a reason why this phone is doing well globally for Samsung.

            AnonD-867344, 31 Jul 2019is gaming performance good on it to play games like ark and... morei played pubg one day , no heat while playing but the graphic cause me motion sickness, so i play asphalt 9 legends instead (probably 5-6 hrs a day after duty)... slightly lag a little and only 5 % frame drops only... but amazing experience.... i will try ark game by today... i play asphalt 9 , dragon rise of berk, hayday and sushibar .... 4 game running on 3.1 gb ram efficiently

              The two main 'cons' from the review have been addressed in Software Updates.

It simply doesn't have an option to stretch the video into full screen without cutting off part of the video. I personally don't mind when a video is stretched out a bit, if it means I'll get to view it full screen 100%. At least when you play videos that aren't the same aspect ration, you can full screen it, as it stretches it.

It seems I cant enable t... moreUnfortunately that is a wide spread issue of tall aspect ratio phones. if the content was recorded on 16:9 aspect ratio it cannot be magically converted to for example 18:9 without stretching the video which will distort items in the video or "Cropping the edges of he video. At least it has an amoled display so the black bars will not be that intrusive.

                          I own this for a month now. its good all in all, but man, it gets really hot when gaming (with mobile data) and its really annoying, all i'm playing is clash of clans and mobile legends, when it gets hot, the phone lags, but it doesn't crash(even on low graphics settings although not as hot as when on high graphics). This shouldn't happen considering the chipset this phone has and the ram it packs. I hope samsung does something to fix this. And for some reason i don't get as much signal reception from my provider compared (I'm from Singapore using Starhub) to my old phone (p30 lite). Honestly, i liked my older phone better FOR GAMING because it runs the games i play smoother. but if you're not gonna use it to play games, i think its all good. Oh and the on screen finger print scanner almost doesn't work in mine. Idk. But the facial recognition works fine. Camera is good, screen display is superb especially with the larger than most screen, the fast charging is awesome, and super long battery life even with bluetooth and mobile data turned on the whole day. I hope this helps anyone.

                            I have an A50. Do anyone here has proximity sensor issues with this model. And is the A70 better

                              i am a user of samsung a70 for over one month.... first of all the best thing about this smartphone is the display ( 6.7inch ) no doubt, the software experence is extremely smooth (the One UI literally easy and fast although sligtly slow animation present while scrolling side by side) and second best is the storage capacity , headphone jack, dual sim and memory card slot up to 1 TB, and high quality 4500 mha battery with (25W) fast charger feature (WOW)...
                              NOW THE SUITABLE PART
                              Gaming is suitable so far (gaming performance rank 85% out of 100% due to slightly lag and barely few frame drops)....
                              Camera performance is decent: image quality at Day time is truely a Beast ,wide angle shots quality are pretty cool .... and low light performance is below average due to focus issue sadly common with all samsung devices ... VIDEO RECORDING AT 60FP ON 1080P is magnificent althoigh no (EIS) lor low light capture supported, but make sure to press (A-FL)while recording to capture details .... (EIS & LOW LIGHT FEATURES IS AVAILABLE ON LOW QUALITY RESOLUTION THAT IS THE 720P 30fps)...
                              THIS AMOLED DISPLAY IS Infinity U Display that has and adorable tear drop notch , at first few day might not be pleasant later u will love it atleast its not huge like the iphone (i hate that notch alot).... and here is now the Bad Part (the cons yo !) OK no IR blaster, NO DUAL SPEAKERS and the mono firing speaker is too noisy, sensitive and no base.... NO Wireless charging.... should had put EIS on 60 fps

                                        sigche, 18 Jul 2019I have had my A70 and the camera sucks! My S7 took much be... morei agree. I just bought yesterday. The camera pixel sucks. Live focus, photo, videos pro is blurry. My htc desire 10 pro is better.
