I'm a sony fan but sadly sony is lagging in the mobile phone business. I feel that they do not want to compete. They never made a top notch phone but an all rounder phone instead. No matter how great their camera sensors are on paper, their camer app algorithm always mess things up. Other phone manufacturers using sony camera sensors tend to produce much better image quality. Also consumers did not ask for a 21:9 aspect ratio screen. Sony's current bezels are ok as long as they put in better front firing speakers and great selfie camera but that's not the case. Lastly sony can put in 4000mah +++ battery and can potentialy trump the battery drain test but we know sony is too "rigid" i'm still using my z5 compact as i cant find better replacement for it.

Certainly doesn't say the camera is better and the example images certainly show that the Xperia is superior. Despite their calling a draw on low light, the samples clearly show that the Sony is cleaner, sharper and more detailed even than Night Mode on the Sammy.
The evidence isn't just what GSMA write: the samples are there to inspect. The Sony is the better camera on GSMA'S comparison.
