How anyone will find the new iPhones attractive at all is beyond me. Looks like Jony Ive really mailed in this design. The vertical cameras on the XS and XS Max looked just fine. At least Huawei's design looked symmetrical.

Great, none of the Editors spoke about the actual features that consumer shall benefit.
I expected to read in-depth analysis / market trends on few of the topics like:
- Higher screen refresh rate
- Better read / write speeds
- Future of 3.5mm jack
- Memory management
- Fuchsia OS & Hongmeng

True Mr Kaloyan. What and how to innovate when Apple put that Ugly, very ugly and Big camera setup on the back (like some old Huawei model)?
What have in their mind?I only guess to make investors very happy, not consumers.
Android market is over-saturated with cheap and good asian models(korean and chinese),you can have everything you want at a good price.
Still waiting for true foldable and very good quality phones.

zahor, 18 Jul 2019huawei p30 pro the best phone 2019That seems subjective to me, Objectively it have almost everything(almost). but no stereo speakers, its UI is okay. display is bright and all but not great for video experience. skin tones looks strange ( I watched GoT on it and colors of Sansa skin looked strange)
OnePlus 7 Pro is subjectively better, Display is awesome, have stereo speakers, full display. no wireless charging/reverse charging or sd card slot or headphone jack.
Objectively S10+ is best phone but for me 7 Pro is best.

The idea from HMD with N9P was to simulate a bigger sensor.
Stacking is very different from merging, because each sensor has different frame in this case.
Sony used hardware to merge data from 2 sensors, hardware cannot do HDR in the process. Now imagine 5 sensors without a ISP fusion chip. Of course it was not going to work well.
HMD is not Nokia, cant expect them to achieve what Nokia used to. At lest their phones take better shots than motorola.

Weird the commemt that costumized UIs are laggy or buggy.
Stock android is always full of bugs, Pixel comes with issues every year.
Without costumized UIs, android would be same since 4.1. Features found on phones from other brands take years to be part of stock amdroid.
Simple stuff like silent shutter, restart, rgb control, screen recording I have since android 5 ( the one my phone came with) ... Other stuff are found since android 4.2, just check phones from Samsung, Htc, Sony and LG.

A lot smartphone now look similar especially in the midrange segment. You couldn't tell which is which if not for their logos. Heck, even Samsung phones which use to have their unique signature looks have jumped into the design trend
