It is surprising that the camera optics and sensor sizes are kept same for so many flagships despite availability of 1/1.7" sensors. Also the leica optics are not available.
Again UFS 3.1 storage has not been introduced.
The dual band GPS is similarly absent.
All these are present in phones priced lesser.

If the next iPhone will support the Apple Pencil, the Galaxy Note will be behind.

Used to be a Samsung fan, but they just went Apple.
Looking forward to Huawei Mate 30 Pro blowing this thing out of the water.

I’ll stick with note9 till S11+ .no headphone jack and that punch hole notch are deal breaker. And design is also Chinese like. One plus 7 pro looks better..

At the price available it needs to have 10 years of support, major OS for at least 5 years and security updates for 10. We would still be talking about $AUD200 per year for cost of ownership at 10 years; of course it won't get 10 years, if it only has 3 years, that that is north of $AUD660 per year.... way too expensive unless you have money to burn.

I dunno which samsung top dog approved this junk
1) why 2 variant? Note series suppose to be the top of the food chain in samsung mobile. Just one will do, as if the smaller note 10 is good with one handed lol. Go big or go home. If i wanted a small phone, i would go for s10e, not the stupid note 10.
2) Why skipped headphone jack! This phone is for power user no?
3) Why no SD card support on both variant?
4) Why go for Huawei phone design? Camera placement is quite good in S10 series, unique samsung design! And they ruined their own masterpiece
5) The button placement is a mess, especially the power button!
6) Stupid O design with the hole right in the middle.....
Guys, better pick Samsung galaxy Note 9 rather than this junk.... or even s10 series.

None of these are for me, but the Note10- is close to interesting.
But I do not get why Samsung BOTH remove the SD-card AND only offer the 256GB variant? I mean with no expansion option people are even more likely to want the largest storage possible.
And why only 1080p? Why not just reuse the S10 display? Not that 1440p is a must, but it IS supposed to be a flagship, right?
Why do manufacturers keep thinking that those that want a less oversized device also want more mediocre specs? It is not that it is 'budget priced'... If they wanted to make a stepping system, then could use 1080p for the 4G model and 1440p for the 5G.
(They could consider 2160p for the Note 10+ 5G similarly - Sony has offered 2160p since 2015, just saying)
And no need to repeat complaints on the ridiculous lack of 3.5mm... - ah well I did anyway...

I'm so happy with Samsung. I have a Note 9 which I love and will not be spending my money on this complete downgrade of a phone. That's 1000 bucks saved. Thanks Samsung! :)

Really disappointed. I already reserved a spot on the preorder and have $162 of points to use towards the phone but the no innovation made me feel like that's a waste of money. Same SoC, same camera, same battery as the S10 5G I returned.
iPhone XI might not be much of an upgrade over XS but it still brings new camera, new SoC and new features

Looks really great ! But curved screen and a high price makes it a no go. I am done with high end (price) devices, because the mid end market is just so amazing these days

With any premium smart phone like I have a note 9, the camera is the most useful one. There has been no improvement on that front. Huawei has been climbing fast on that and Samsung will catch that next year or may be not. So its worthwhile to wait for next year to see who comes out roaring mate 30 pro/ p40 pro or Samsung S 11

Carter, 07 Aug 2019Exactly, just get a OnePlus 7 proI do not Think So, because Note10 looks better in terms of design and its performance. There would be no match for note10 as of now.
