The problem is - versatility in mobile phone market has been taken away and replaced by stylish-ness and good looks.
Gone are the days of removable battery, HDMI connectors, two USB ports, etc. - actual real life useful features.
Many were lost, but many still exist within the Android world. iOS with its non-existent file management is a different animal. It caters to different audience.
You can provide perfect reasons, yet the right people will still get those phones year by year.

          PS: You seem to have no knowledge or whatsoever when it comes to photography, so your take on the image quality has to be discredited.

In 2019, an estimated 85% of the entire mobile phone user population is using android. Even if you say only half of that 85% is actually happy with the android experience, that's still a whopping 42.5% of the population that's happy with android. Contrast that with Apple's iphone users not even reaching 15% market share. And to think, almost half of the iPhone population is using 2-year old or older iphones that were intentionally slowed down by Apple with an iOS update. No wonder the iPhone market share has been shrinking and is forecast to continue shrinking to 13% market share in 2019:

                        I'm an android user since 2012 and mostly Samsung phones. Only had iPhone 3gs. This is the first iPhone that I consider getting for the first time in a long time. The specs are very good. What I like about Apple is that it's resale value is still high even after 2 years and plus the software updates. I'm just annoyed that my Note 8 is not getting the new android software and it's now only €100-€150 if I sell this phone.

Honestly, this one nails it, from screen to proc... moreWell, 3 years of the same design, no USB-C, no always on display, huge bezels, NFC only for Apple Pay, limited bluetooth functionality, no headphone jack (though that didn't seem to influence the Note10's score). Tons of stuff that can give this phone a 4,5. Besides the good ones, good camera, good display, fine software and future proof software wise, improved IP rating over last year for example.

Looks awesome to me.. specially with the new apple logo placement.. love the build and looks. Very premium. Don’t need otg or slow motion like 99% other people. I also love the note 10. I am confused between these two for upgrading this vacation. I am using note 9 now.

                                      Only 4.5 ? Honestly, this one nails it, from screen to processing prowess to battery life. How much can you penalize it for design and meager base storage ? The 11 Pro should have scored 4.7-4.8

                                        DXOMarks is unreliable but why up until now there is no DXOMarks rating for this phone. Mate 30 which is not yet available has ratings already.
