Mike9625, 28 Sep 2019Wtf are u talking There's a lot of better options than this... moreLet me get this straight, besides the *categorically defining factor of a phones superior performance, the chipset* which Apple has matter-of-factly a superior chip, and the *arguably other defining performance factor, the Operating system* which, again, Apple has a supremely refined user experience, Android has better options? Did I read that right? Do you guys even think before you post? Crikey.

Seriously, if you want an iPhone 11, buy it for the fast A13, for iOS, for the super duper high 326 ppi... (oh wait... those haven't changed at all since the iPhone 6. Shame!)
Putting an A13 in here makes about as much sense as putting a V12 turbo engine into an old 50s Dodge Coronet, it just twiddles thumbs all of the time. They should've used a slower A13 LE and offered the result for less (like $599).
Don't buy the iPhone 11 for the camera, or you'll shoot yourself in the foot. The colors are dull and washed out, lacking contrast, there's oversharpening... You can get midrange phones for half the price, which take better photos, and often even have a telephoto lens, which is lacking here.
While it's nice that Apple finally added a Night Mode, which all others already introduced many years ago, the results are still far from good.
Main problem: Especially with the street pictures, you'll often find such an extreme yellow tint below light sources (e.g. street lanterns), it looks like someone emptied a can of yellow paint there.
If you zoom in on the Night Mode photos, you'll notice they're quite soft due to aggressive noise reduction. The photos without Night Mode don't have noise reduction (and thus considerably more noise), but they often retain more fine detail (at least where it's not too dark).
Nice try for the very first attempt at a Night Mode, but there's still ample room for improvement. In the current state, it doesn't even come remotely close to Huawei, Samsung, or whoever else.
So Apple fans will have to wait another year for the iPhone 12, to finally get a decent Night Mode - which likely won't be made available to the iPhone 11, just like the current Night mode won't be made available to the XS, X and below.

Shaan, 28 Sep 2019Once you have used an OLED panel, there's no going back to LCDs. I beg to differ a decent lcd screen is much better than a poor quality amoled with banding issues across colours on low brightness.... I’ve never seen a bad apple lcd screen.... I’ve seen some terrible amoled screens with horrible quality on low brightness in a dim room

Honestly..... I’ve used huawei and their eco system.... I’ve used Samsung and their eco system and I’ve used a pixel phone in an android eco system and do you know what....for a creative professional on the go none of them do it better than apple
You can buy an iPhone 11 with AirPods , series 3 smart watch and iPad Pro for less than a s10 , galaxy watch , galaxy buds and tab s6 and the apple ecosystem is a great place to be
I’m still waiting for real creative apps like luma fusion and affinity for android , the apps on android are just second class to what iOS offers and the way apple stuff just works together is superb
The iPhone 11 is a solid all round phone at a fair price with a ticket to the best eco system for creative professionals backed up with great customer services and warranty
People will bang on about but it doesn’t have this feature it doesn’t have that feature from android.... but them phones don’t run iOS ... they don’t have the Apple Watch.... they don’t have the iPad Pro and they don’t have the software that creative pros need in terms of audio , video and photography

Steven, 29 Sep 2019NO ONE SHOULD BUY LCD in 2019 ( not to mention HD )
Go fo... moreAlthough I can understand the love for OLED (coming from Note 3, Nexus 6P and my current OP 6T), resolution is not the strongest comparison to make. All OLED screens have pentile arrangement, effective resolution is lower than an equivalent RGB LCD screen.
Again, I say this while sitting firmly in OLED camp.

inb4 there'll be a blind test from Jonathan Morrison where the iPhone 11 will pit against Xiaomi Mi 9T Pro and all the people will choose that the iPhone 11 having a better screen.

Shaan, 28 Sep 2019Once you have used an OLED panel, there's no going back to LCDs. That's what I thought too. I've been using Samsung OLED for years. Then I got an iPhone at work. The iPhone LCD is top notch and I have no problem adjusting to it.
