Samsung Galaxy Fold long-term review

"I feel like there can't physically be so much lint inside my pocket. Plus, how does every last bit get inside the folded Fold? Seriously, I have to clean the display every time I open it."

That's not the only place it accumulates dust and debris, also in the hinge. Luckily beach season is over in most parts of the world now :-)

I like to read a lot of stuff on my phone. Manga, books, internet, etc. Having a large unfolded screen would be amazing for that, and really convenient. I don't want to use a tablet, since I want all my stuff on one mobile device, not two. I also want something that fits in a pocket, and tablets don't. I'm really looking forward to foldable mid-rangers, I hope they start appearing soon.

            This article just highlights why this device just isn't ready for the market. No one asked for this, no one needs it. There's just no clear use case for such a monster right now.

            As a proof of concept perhaps, yes, but not as a mainstream device.

              Can we have more reviews like this, at least the flagship models, it captures a lot of nitty gritty things that usually doesn't make it to the review. And at $1000+, some nitty gritty things can be a real deal breaker

                    i give you credit for speaking the perks of this TABLET with phone capabilities. i ll buy one when whatever oem launch a full baked foldable and lower the price, not like this half-baked(even less) overpriced thing!

                      i dont want to carry a heavy brick in my pocket that unfolds in a bigger brick, oh wait, that samsung brick doesnt even fit in my pocket and if a push enough maybe yes, but everyone will think i m "happy" to see everyone !
