Metron, 11 Oct 2019Thank you for the review, been waiting for it! Although I ... moreI think this is THE perfect midranger. The price tag is not a good enough reason to give it less than 4 stars.

This is a great overall smartphone which has all the features that a phone can have kinda. Even comes with a fast charger included! Hows that not a pro. The phone deserves a 4,0-4,5 out of 5 in my opinion. And it's not the same price as the 9T or anything. First i saw the price at ~300€ and it already dropped to 270€

> "Connectivity: Dual-SIM; LTE-A, Cat.15/13 (800Mbps/150Mbps); USB-C; Wi-Fi a/b/g/n/ac; dual-band GPS; Bluetooth 5.0, FM radio, IR blaster."
- You forgot NFC (while it's in the "Pros"). Please, correct the review.
> "Indeed, the front of the Mi 9 Lite looks like any other midranger and even with a visible homescreen - it's hard to tell the brand, let alone the model."
- Which is hardly a problem, and hardly worth mentioning :)
> "Oh, and the Mi 9T screen is notch-less."
- And Mi 9T has pop-up selfie camera, which reduces reliability and will collect dust. And it costs more.
> "The A70 boasts a larger battery with faster charging"
- Yeah, and with that it has about the same battery life and charging speed - so it is less energy-efficient. Also A70 has less graphical performance.
> "It costs as much as Mi 9T/Mi 9 and is the 'one too many' in the lineup"
- What? It does not. In my country, for Global Version 6/128 combo, Mi 9 Lite costs ~$280, Mi 9T costs ~$325, and Mi 9 costs ~$400.
Please, correct the review. Also, "is the 'one too many' in the lineup" isn't a problem.
> "Poor grip without a case on"
- Why should anyone use a smartphone without any case? oO

Thank you for the review, been waiting for it!
Although I can understand the reasons behind the final score, I think it deserves a 4.0 rating at least, anyone agree?
Anyway, I already decided that this will be my next phone!
Thanks again GSMArena!

Very good phone. I want to ask the reviewer: which should i choose for camera quality from Poco f1 and Mi 9 Lite?

I mildly disagree with the conclusion: the postionning and place of this specific handset is coerbakd deserved - it's a slightly better Redmi Note.
Of all the Mi 9's it's the only one that is a clone of the Redmi Note with no missing features (SD slot, audio jack, no moving parts ie periscope cam...). It only has slightly better everything (AMOLED, SoC, fingerprint reader, looks...).
I've spent some time looking at which Mi9 to upgrade my teen nephew's Redmi Note 4X, and we settled on this 9Lite because of the very easy to understand, no-compromise, feature-for-feature match-or-better. This. Aa Redmi Note SuperPro.

I think it's still decent. Kinda expensive yes, but you get a lot for your money with all the small things like FM radio, infrared, NFC, metal frame, and micro SD slot even if it's hybrid.
K20 doesn't have micro SD slot and Note 8 Pro has plastic frame I think along with Realme XT.
