        Another disaster from Nokia. I'm not sure why they even try at this point. SD660 at 350 dollars is a cash grab.

          Sean, 23 Oct 2019Nokia just doesn't seem to be trying hard enough at allThat is because the word "Nokia" now is just a branding and not real company and that other manufacturers take 3-4 years before they can outclass Nokia's camera phones.

              Gandalfdenvite, 24 Oct 2019HMD wanted to profit, fool buyers, by using the "Nokia" bra... moreNokia HMD only has 2 phones that is good for the money of the mass, it's 8.1 and 7Plus, 7Plus was expensive when it was released, but even until now when it's prices is the same as A1 in some countries, it matches the performance in camera, battery, gaming and transition with the top midrange sellers like Xiaomi and Realme, 8.1 has been doing the same since its release, maybe you have no idea how to use your phone's max capability that's why your expectation became a disappointment

                Loved this brand for many years. 12 candybars, 4 communicators, 3 lumias. Nokia 8 was my last phone. I will probably not buy Nokia. Am on my Mi Max 3 now. Nokia must come up with better value phones.

                  I bought the 7 Plus back in 2018, and still use it. That phone was everything you asked of it at that price point. Sadly the 7.2 is not, was so hoping for a 700 series chip, not the old 660. Sorry Nokia, fail.

                    Nokia phones feel premium on hand. It has the feeling long lasting phone.

                      SD660 at this price is yikes. I'm more than ready to hop off the China-phone train - I'm at least slightly wary of the potential security issues and I live in a country (UK) which will be under significant American pressure on such things (maybe even more soon, depending on Brexit events) - but bad value propositions like this make that decision a lot harder.

                      I have an Honor 9 right now and this phone would literally be a downgrade on that in every meaningful-to-me way except screen-to-body ratio. And that sucks, because Android One plus Not China equals major buying appeal if the price is at all competitive. Which this isn't. :(

                        CompactPhones5ever, 23 Oct 2019It's a real shame that Nokia is falling into oblivion again... moreHMD wanted to profit, fool buyers, by using the "Nokia" brand, I was one of the fooled buyers because I now own the Nokia 8.1 and I deeply regret that purchase! I will never again make the mistake of thinking HMD-phones have the same quality... as Nokia-phones did! HMD is HMD = nobody!

                          @Chemie, A3 has this year, thus newer, more efficient SD665 SoC... Its 11nm vs 7.2's 14nm 660.
                          A3 has 4.000 mAH battery that lasts even longer because mentioned SoC and lower res SAMOLED display.
                          A3 has really fast and usable 32MP front camera for pretty decent Face Unlock, and nothing worse main camera, maybe even better, than 7.2 "Zeiss" one.
                          And yeah, A3 is almost as twice cheaper device than 7.2.

                          Bottom line, A3 is one of the best-buy options out there, and 7.2 with this price is semi-failed phone, like it or not.

                            Nobody buying sd660 at that price point. Redmi and Realme Pro is a much better buy

                              This phone has very poor and common specs for its price. The only special thing is that it has the Google assistant. The device even get a separate button for it. This sounds good but in my country (not only mine) Google assistant isn't supported, it is deactivated and can't be used. With two words NEXT ONE...

                                    I waited a long time for this review. First off, it's unusually lacking in details. Second, I don't know why, but gsmarena seems to be neglecting the software that comes with these phones. I hate everything that is Android and has to rely on OEMs to support it. Maybe besides oxygen os. Third, this seems to be a bit of a mixed bag in terms of comparisons made. Have you noticed that phone specs are basically useless unless you're gaming? Why compare a realme with a 10-15% better CPU when that realme is not going to get the next security update before January next year? At least compare it to other Android one devices - this is not your typical mid-range category and I think it should be treated that way. You go ahead and compare it to other Android one devices - see if doesn't stack up in the top 3 of the mid-range options then. The mi a3 has a worse display, worse battery life, the same price and same chip. Where's the heat on that phone? This is a weird review and was a total waste of time - not nearly as informative as usual.

                                      Absolutely trash phone. I got to see some sample images from someone who was trying to say that this is the best camera smartphone under $300... The night time images are horrible and very very noisy. The only plus points are HDR display & hdr video recording. With a dated chip like 660, i wonder how good the hdr video recording will be. I have just bought a 6GB-128GB Xiaomi Poco F1 for less than $200 and it will absolutely destroy this nokia 7.2. Even Realme 3 Pro or Redmi Note 7 Pro are much better than it. Realme 2 Pro and Redmi Note 7S are essentially the same phone at half price. I think Nokia is trying to become the Apple of Android world. But unfortunately, they will simply end up being Nokia again.
