I've had the S10, S10 plus and the Note 10. I thought the selfie camera on all of them were terrible...like shockingly bad! Samsung's image softening makes you look like a doll in anything less than perfect lighting and it was honestly one of the worst thing about the Note which was otherwise an amazing phone. iPhone's have always been the most natural and flattering selfie cameras. My current OnePlus 7 Pro selfie cam is a great all rounder, it's clear and crisp and works in most lightning conditions.

I never knew the Iphone 11 Pro Max selfie camera was this good..
Now Google pixel owners just have to stop ranting that their premium-midrange devices have the best cameras.. the iPhone is just better in both worlds (selfie&rear cam)..

It's mostly about people thinking 'oh!, look at me' and boasting about being in the location they happen to be in at the time of said 'selfie'. Long gone are the days when people actually admired the scenery around them and making that the focus of photographs. But much prefer to stick their mugs bang in the middle of every frigging picture they take...
Oh, and taking 'selfies' is pretty dangerous too, as quite a number of people have died (worldwide) while taking them. But then, maybe that's just the process of natural selection taking place... :p

Check Pixel 3 Selfies. It's a dual setup and I love its versatility.
P.S. Saying selfies are useless or something like that is like people saying, people who don't know how to take selfies are losers. Just stop making those senseless statements.
