Samsung is pure class and the King.
This is a jewel of phone. The technology, craftsmanship and operation are surely impressive.
To this day my S8 looks and performs brilliantly.

ypcx, 12 Feb 2020Oh so we dreamed the difference between Snapdragon and Exyn... moreQualcomm would have to pay me a handsome amount to have me brainwashed into believing insecure spinsters like you, bubba.
Synthetic benchmarks is something you cling on to when your product is a pile of stuttering manure. Video stutters, UX stutters. Sound clips. But the benchmark numbers NO ONE can use for anything real looks big.
My Galaxy Note 9 with a two years old Exynos runs silky smooth, though. It also sounds great and doesn't record videos I'd be so embarrassed of that I'd have to churn it through a professional post-production service before sharing.

Anonymous, 12 Feb 2020Im using S10 plus Exynos 9810 and battery life aren’t that ... moreYeah so go mitigate by turning off bloatware, AOD, and disabling background location for all apps -- just because someone at Samsung (in your case correctly) decided that you are uninformed and complacent enough to accept an inferior product (Exynos) for 20% more price than what the rest of the world is paying for a superior (Snapdragon) product.

So in order to get that newest marketing fad known as high refresh rate feature which eliminates motion blur (hardware fix for a software problem in Android's case) you need to go below native resolution on 7" device and introduce blur on static screen. Amazing.

I am in Europe and I won't even consider this phone until I see Exynos 990 vs SD 865 scrutinized and tested by at least 3 different sources. I'm interested in differences in performance, battery life and camera quality. If Exynos 990 is inferior by at least 3% I will skip this phone. Enough is enough.

Anonymous, 11 Feb 2020Better wait for anandtech test I think this time Exyons are... moreLol keep dreaming mate, not even in the same ballpark, not even the same sport.
Samsung are contract bound, the Mali will not touch the Adreno, for gaming performance if it requires the use of the GPU then you'll be left wanting.
For 1499 I think they're having a laugh..
Even their home country, south Korea isn't using it, just the EU, not only that but this is the last exynos they're making.
Awful decision, anyone with a brain should avoid this, probably won't but I would.

"Unfortunately, it seems the new Qualcomm sensor will not be making its way into the Galaxy S20. A recent leak that revealed many details about the Galaxy S20, including real-life pictures of the device in action, suggests that the fingerprint sensor is not being upgraded"
