john+doe, 12 Feb 2020This is a spectacular phone, no doubt about it, BUT let's... moreThe price is really high, I'll give you that. But outdated in two months? Come on. I still use my OnePlus One, it looks great and works great. People buy too many phones too quickly.

The camera has only improved while rest of the things work smoothly.

Plus If you are like most people, using stock ROM, OneUi is more optimized for Exynos compared to Snapdragon.

Anonymous, 12 Feb 2020That if you think android it’s totally open source! Way more things possible on Android that can't be even thought of on iOS.
I remember how 512mb Ram phones did widgets smoothly while a jail broken iPhone with 1gb ram fail to recreate the magic of HTC flip clock. Struggled and lagged like hell.

Android is miles better than iOS in terms of functionality and tapping into the real resources of the device.

ypcx, 12 Feb 2020Bro, in S10 Exynos vs snapdragon real app tests, Exynos was... moreYou are right dude. I really can confirm this based on personal experience.

Had an S10e Exynos. Won't even run PUBGM at HDR graphics ultra framerate (40fps) constantly- it just stutters. iPhone XR can even run HDR graphics Extreme framerate (60fps) provided that antialising is off. I have already turned off CPU limiter and set screen resolution to HD+ only.

Meanwhile COD Mobile also stutters in very high settings, Shadowgun Legends won't run at smooth details at 60fps smoothly. GRID Autosport can't run smoothly at maximum details.

Battery won't even last for 2 days under constant usage. Image processing quality of camera shots are decent, shadows are lacking, compared to Snapdragon version.

This is few of the reasons why I exchanged it for an iPhone 11 and realme X2 Pro. Satisfied with both phones (90Hz in X2 Pro is a bonus, and it's surprisingly cheap with good cameras).

By the way, this time S20 in my country seems to use Snapdragon SoC, maybe this one's going to be much better.

Exciting but well overpriced for an Android phone, unfortunately. But the price of S20 and S20+ is the same in SE Asia, at least.

This phone will appeal greatly to mobile photographers. I am waiting to see its image quailty with its 9-in-1 pixel binning tech (Nonacell) and 100x zoom. 8K 24fps is not really useful, if there's no OIS (S10+ has no OIS at 4K 60fps)

However, this only applies to the Snapdragon version. Exynos version has decent image processing quality (confirmed this on a S10e Exynos) and not to mention that SoC potentially throttles easily (not very good news for 8K video recording).

Skip Sammy phones with Exynos chipsets.

I get that the new big sensor can get more light in, but I doubt it can offset the loss in aperture number. We have to wait and see.

Moreover they never testing battery drain in standby and while running GPS, which is where Exynos also fails. There's a reason Samsung uses Snapdragon everywhere they can, why they closed down their Exynos ARM core dev center, and will most likely dump Exynos altogether soon. Anyway, let's wait for the S20 Exynos vs Snapdragon benchmarks. Bubba.

BUT let's be serious, EUR/£/$1500 it is insane for something that will look outdated after 2 months.
Btw, I have a Fold 5G 12GB/512 GB. Do you know how much money Samsung is offering to me if I trade it: £450. For something I have spent £1900 in Dec '19, meaning 1 month and a half ago.
It's crazy! So, Samsung, if you listen, start pricing more ethically!!!!!!!

nobody need alot of camera in a single phone , those camera's not even compared to equal professional cameras,

I had played the samsung 108MP sensor for a few months, it is amazing sensor it is so close to m4/3 you guys will love it

How did i got the samsung 108MP sensor? I bought the mi cc9 pro which has the same sensor

1.8 aperture is nothing spectacular, I wonder why they choose this? Even the old S8 has 1.7.
