Have this foon on contract now and for 36 months and for this price. It's not playing wma files, doesn't have it's own file system use google files, finger print scanner work if you're lucky and I have lost some of my contacts not ones. LG this is not n flagship foon. I wouldn't recommend this foon.

this phone is only available in the US? that bad! LG, You are losing buyers because of your poor distribution and selling policy. the latest model available in my country is the V40 c'mon! It is your fault...

      So LG.
When are you going to allow others around the world to purchase this? I'm in Australia, really would like it but your distribution truly sucks!

For me LG proved second best to HTC from the first one I had, the V60 goes further. I think the only drawback is the screen size, I would love this phone with only a 5" screen. If I want a screen this size then I'll get a tablet. 5G is bogus in my area, but the 4g lte is as fast as any phone I have used. The only really bad con to this phone is the same as most phones, FAR TO MUCH BLOATWARE. With Galaxy or iPhone your buying the name, neither could you pay me to use over the V60, there just is no comparison.

I really want to want this phone. I really do. But it's just not competitive. Mediocre cameras. Not a great display. The notch of course. LG's bad software support.

IMHO. This phone over 200g and (width) dimensions too huge add on the flat back design isn't a good phone for grasp in one hand.

Mumulenka, 26 Feb 2020- teardrop notch (like any other notch) is atrocious - LG ... moreLG V30 sensor may have used smaller sensor but did yield overall better detail in bright light & actually improved on low light performance but did have some issues with dynamic range relative to maximum brightness handling compared to LG V20 but this was not huge. The V30 has higher resolution than either V20 or V40 & that did in fact show in photos taken in the best lighting conditions.

Anonymous, 26 Feb 2020FHD resolution shouldn't really be a problem, it is still s... moreI installed the G Cam mod & did see slight improvement but not huge at all & only in slight detail recovery. The G Cam also caused other problems so I quickly removed it. Dynamic range did not appear to be improved at all compared to what it did for the V40. Again G Cam had other issues with photos on the V40 pertaining to color accuracy. Seems better that way on V60 but interfered with other apps which I valued.

                  Hello

I posted earlier about this phone & it appeared that the post was accepted but I was unable to log in then but am logged in now & can't see my previous post even though I just viewed it a few minutes ago without logging in.

Any rate I did buy the phone and noticed some issues with gesture navigation which I did mention in other posts but failed to mention issues with second screen acting up. It does work correctly most of time but occasionally will start flashing off & on or start turning to snow appearance. When this happens second screen loses touch sensitivity or some time stop working at all as in goes blank. Restarting phone fixes issue.

I also had to turn off gesture navigation which was very laggy on my phone. I went to setting & switched to standard android navigation & this made the phone feel much faster with zero lags.

I mentioned earlier about what I thought was mildly excessive smoothing but I take that back. Output looks great.

Some people have complained about small video file sizes. This is actually somewhat adjustable in the camera settings. I found that I could effectively double the bit rate from 40 to 80 Mb/s to improve image quality for 4K60FP/s. 8K is limited to 52Mb/s.

Images produced by camera are fairly color accurate. Significantly better than the LG V40 which I also own. Dynamic range presentation is significantly better on the LG CUP than on earlier V series models & low light photos are the best yet for LG V series phones & there is a mode that allows you to adjust the exposure that works very well so you can capture just the right amount of brightness to accurately reproduce what the eyes see.

It is true that LG dropped MQA support but that truely is no great loss & neither is the loss of higher than 192 KHz sample rates as there is no audible information there anyway. The DAC operates at well into the MHz range anyway. At least 80 MHz & all audio is converted to sigma delta 1 bit conversion at 80 or above MHz.

Most of the issues with this phone can be fixed with a software update. Even with out that update it is still a great phone that is very fast

I've had the phone for 3 days now.

I was very surprised how easy it was to view both screens in direct sun light. Even when not set at full bright. Did even if the summer sun is brighter I don't expect any problems.

The phone is thicker and heavier than the V40 even when it's in use with out the dual screen.

It is very responsive. I have noticed some lag on the internet but the internet is having issues because of the virus. Apps are not having to restart with a bunch open. The only app I've had a little trouble with is the game township. It acts up. The company was very poor in their CS response. Tried to blame it on the internet connection. I'm getting 70+ mps to my phone. The graphics get confused, and a few other issues.that don't happen when only using the phone without the dual screen. So definitely an app issue.

The little on screen button to deal with the dual screens occasionally gets in the way, but can be moved around the screen.

One major annoyance is that they have the adapter to charge the phone when it's the the dual screen case. It is about the size of an adapter from micro USB to USB C without the metal prong. So I expect it will be very easy to lose. I would have rather they just put a charging port into the second screen.

Somethings are hard to find. I don't find the apps for email for file manager. I was able to backup the email ago from my v40. However the file manager app from the v40 didn't work. The v60. I got a different one from the app store. Switching keyboards isn't in the pull down menu. I need to go to settings and search for keyboard.

The settings app isn't as nice or as helpful as the V40.

I like that you can watch videos with the second screen standing up. Plus I can do other things on the phone while watching. I also play ingress and pogo. They are both location based games so I can play both at the same time.

The phone IS sold either single or dual screen on T-Mobile. $800 for single and $900 U.S. For the dual screen.

Over all I like the phone but still getting use to how wide it it's with both screens and the extra weight.

I will wait to see it in person before I judge it too harsh. Love my lgv30 it's perfect but getting older now.

Worried about the display mostly being non QHD as FHD on the V30 is okay but not as sharp as QHD.

Looks a little too wide I would like my next phone under 70mm wide will look at the Sony 1 ii.

And compared to the s20 in my country we get exynos and I'm not paying MORE for less battery life and performance. So that's why LG win for me there.

Camera software means nothing to me as you just either use manual or Gcam

Updates Ive gotten Oreo and pie on my 2017 V30 so LG are fine in my books. Not like the updates help much anyway. People just love the idea of making their phone new with new updates I guess.

And the v60 is literally giving you 2 screens and 90% of the s20 ultra at less price and people are still salty. You want them to price it lower then a one plus or something? Not like Samsung are cheap either the ultra is $2000 here and base is $1300

I am using one right now, with a bigger notch than Lg V60. Trust me after a few weeks it practically disappears and you won't notice it at all.
