Exynos is not capable and not on same level as Snapdragon chips...
This time they'll loose coz more ppl know the poor performance of their Exynos and there's more noise...a lot of ppl are not buying this expensive Exynos $hit...
I'll rather import there US version or buy a Sony with SD865 then get this poor Exynos phone...
They are already reporting low pre-orders & guess whose fault is it...lol

It has a much larger battery, great 5G, much faster refresh rate and even better screen, much better onboard speakers, and a lot more. It isn't perfect, to be fair. But it definitely leads the Android pack, albeit by a margin.
The only 2 complaints, IMHO, are:
1. Price.
2. It's not the absolutely best smartphone camera ever produced.
The proce is definitely a lot, but it does bring huge improvements. Samsung should throw in better freebies or have a better exchange program.
About the Camera, well its improving. I agree that Samsung rushed it. They need to tweak the algorithms to go easy on the noide reduction, digital sharpening and improve shadow details during daytime a little bit. Hopefully, once the Camera firmware comes out, testing will let us know the real picture. Also, if the Exynos version isn't capable enough, they should try to push out the Snapdragon to way more markets.

Hello guys,
can you test how fast the card reader is? Does it support UHS-II cards at speeds above 100MB/s?
One big thing - it turns out that S20 Ultra is the first Samsung phone to support MicroSD card in addition to 2 SIM cards - one eSIM and one nanon SIM (You did not put this in your review)

Imagine having a $1350 smartphone with the standardized version of the Bright HMX which is HM1, be beaten by said experimental sensor found in Xiaomi phones like Mi 10 Pro and Mi Note 10 which costs more than half of the Ultra. See, Megapixels do matter 27MP > 12MP.

But there’s huge con of multi frame image stacking like ghosting, blurred fine to very fine details. Single frame is best. Software trick has more con than Hardware trick.

Saw Micheal fisher and other youtubers review the phone. All of them report great battery life and upwards of 9hr screen on Time.
But they are also using US variant with SD865.
So it's clear that Samsung shutting down its custom core development has shelled out underwhelming performance compared to Snapdragon variant. Even though most users won't notice the performance difference in day to day tasks.

Regarding the captured amount of light (regarding the total field of view) the raw file would be approximately equivalent to a Sony Rx100 VII at f/2.3 (which is not possible as the Rx100 VII has an f/2.8 lens) with the same exposure time, so yes, it captures approximately 45% more light per time than the Rx100 VII at approximately 25mm (full frame equivalent).
In extreme low light conditions the SNR of the S20 Ultra raw files might be even equivalent to a Rx100 VII at f/2.1 due to the higher pixel count of the Rx100 VII.
