It will be interesting how the high resolution images will look like. This is a Quad Pixel sensor and it's very surprising that this can produce high resolution photos according to Sony. I don't know how it works because, due to the larger microlens, which contains 4 subpixels, it actually should behave completely different to a Quad Bayer sensor. For example that's the reason why 12 megapixel Dual Pixel sensors can't produce high resolution 24 megapixel photos.

Asking microSd for a device with 512gb storage is just nitpicking especially when you account OTG functionality for Android.

At this price, if they would really wanted to impress, they needed to include a MicroSD and Qi. That's the basic. 1200 EUR for an "unhearded brand" (Outside tech ppl, I knwo that Oppo isn't a small group and is a part of BBK), it's crazy if they think it will sell like hotcake. Even Samsung is kinda regretting the starting price of the S20 (+) (Ultra) considering the poor presale in EU (I speak mainly for Belgium, NL and France, don't have the number for the rest)

Zorba, 06 Mar 2020There are some strange purple and blue artifacts all over t... moreIt's because how GsmArena takes photos of the Find X2. The phone is perfectly normal actually. Few times GsmArena took pictures of a handset screen and it seems to flicker when that's not the reality.
You'll regret buying the S20. It comes with an underwhelming Exynos chipset.

Whackcar, 06 Mar 2020The phone is good overall, and it would've been a great che... moreAlso by basically again reusing the P30 Pro body, with extremely curved screen corners having very bad usability due to all the mistouches - accidentaly switching camera modes, clicking stuff while simply trying to pick the phone up while screen is on, etc. I wish the Chinese were able to come up with a different body type than the off-the-mill one that they all share.

There are some strange purple and blue artifacts all over the perforated screens.
I am not sure that I love the camera based on these shots.
Samsung's S20 seems a much better buy for a few pounds more.

removable microsd is always better. If ever the phone breaks down you can pull out the card and keep with you your data. Also you can buy the memory size you really need also modern sd are very fast

Can it use its main, tele & ultra-wide cams for video recording with smooth transitioning during recording??
I'm asking because Oppo Reno 10x Zoom can't do that (while Huawei P30 Pro can).

Good:
Camera, Battery and screen all look good.
Poor:
No SD Card - so you're paying a premium for non removable storage.
No Qi - With most flagships now offering Qi and even Fast Wireless Charging (Xiaomi's 30w) this is not the handset for me.

no memory card for a camera centric mobiles is one of the most foolish thing to do......and useless curved screen...in photos only we can bluish/greenish tint at the curved edges....all tech is useless...price is insane...

After the lackluster reviews, Now I am waiting for the Find X2 pro, if everything goes well, I am switching to Oppo. It meets every requirement in a 2020 flagship, No skimming on features.

Check the twitter of Ice Universe , he is always talking about Samsung and chinese brands.
He says S20/S20+ will perform better than Ultra for camera.
