I think, all negative comment about P40 series, because they never hold this phone..for me GMS is not a deal breaker just use my older phone for bussiness and the new no GMS phone for private time, the power of P40 series camera is my main reason. The display is magnificent, much better than the famous korean brand. Battery life is awesome, no cpu throttling, very stable. What will I ask more??? Be positive life is not all about GMS... 😀

I'm buying the Huawei p40 pro+ God willing. I have been a Huawei enthusiast since the day of P8. GMS or not, I no where I belong

How many people outside China would actually buy this? The P30 series was great, but they also have GMS. How many people outside China even bought the Mate 30? Seems like Huawei is wasting their time and money pushing these phones outside China. They should’ve just saved the money to prepare a comeback when they can get GMS back.
And the tech reviewers won’t be helping any consumers because they got review units for free. These things are not cheap.

All of this without talking about the compatibility with your headphones without the need of adapter or extra thing. And yeah one more thing the type c headphone might break the port while it's in your tight pocket. And I know all this won't change your opinion but at least understand that everyone has a Preference ?

czlek, 26 Mar 2020No jack, no buy. P30 had jack. Why would u need a jack when you can use Bluetooth headphones. I used regular headphones and the wire always got in the way. You can find plenty of Bluethooth headphones at reasonable price.

Don't like that ugly pill-shaped screen cut out, bulky design, missing stereo speakers, curved screen and the price tag for all of this. Will keep my old P20 Pro for another year, especially in the light of looming global financial crisis and uncertainly in job perspectives.

Average design, and the price, 799 euro is too much for this software/feature package and for the App Gallery. But I understand it, they can sell enough in China, and what they sell in the Western, is just the bonus and they lough about it. For 800 euro, the OnePlus 8 Pro will kill this phone...
