The A3 uses stock Android while the Note 8 uses MIUI and MIUI is known to aggressively conserve battery. OLED panels by design are more efficient than LCD panels because they don't require a backlight while LCD does.

It's already a cheap enough phone with good value for money, period. Maybe the display has to be 1080p LCD, at least.

                      Look at that battery life...

People say LCD screens drains battery

They say mediatek isnt battery efficient

And here we are 186 battery endurance with a 12nm chipset

Mr. Anonymous, 11 Apr 2020"Redmi Note 8T costs about €15 less than the Realme 6i, but... moreit is true that overall performance of g80 is higher than 665.
but you feel like the 665 is better due to its consistant performance as all media tek processors tend to have some lag spikes unlike snapdragon.
thats the only reason to perfer sd or mt, but on the other hand mt offer better performance in budget devices.

Mr. Anonymous, 11 Apr 2020"Redmi Note 8T costs about €15 less than the Realme 6i, but... moreDefinitely a error on their part. Based on the benchmark scores they've posted, the Helio G80 inside the Realme 6i is a better performer in both CPU & GPU compared to the Snapdragon 665 inside the Redmi Note 8T.

If those battery figures hold true then this is probably the best sub £200 new phone out there.

"Redmi Note 8T costs about €15 less than the Realme 6i, but it tops the 6i with a higher-res screen, snappier processor.."

Strange that you say so, the benchmarks you posted clearly show the opposite.

Why not east europe. Romania really gets only a few phones

Wow. For the battery alone, i think i will buy this one for my mother.

                                        That battery endurance looks desirable.

Overall, it's a better option than the recently released Realme 5s. A price cut should make it more attractive.
