Cant understand why they make that curved screen phones.. its not practical in day today use.. i would have bought straight away op8pro if it ws not a curved screen.. disappointed

Yeesh. Those samples don't look great, imo.
Really dislike the useless "color" filter sensor.
If they aren't going to provide a spectrocolorimeter then drop the extra camera or make the main sensor larger.

I had Oneplus 1 and then 2 (which was not really great device). Since 2018 I use Oneplus 6 and so far it's best device I ever had (except cameras issue which will be the case also with 8 and 8 pro variants). Why I took this brand is the major question? I was Apple user till then and Apple gone to far with pricing that was just not justified as I normally use device from two up to three years. So I needed a device that will do the job and not be too expensive. By 2018 that was the case with Oneplus and as I said only camera was not at expected level. In 2019 Trump banned Huawei from Google services and now I do not have alternative choice at all (I live in central Europe)! So either Apple (don't like this ecosystem) or Samsung (honestly hate as the cheat us with not giving us Qualcom but instead push Exynos, and price tag is just over any normal level...), LG is slowly showing up (hope they will push constant software updates)... So Huawei (not cheap to be honest) and HONOR (only brand to provide great camera with hi specs) is the choice I would like to have equipped with Google sercices (hope to solve this mess soon). Honor is at the moment what Oneplus was years ago. This new model 8 is overpriced for camera specs! The high end model pro is at the level of Galaxy S20 which still is a leader in android world (as said Huawei is out of Google). My point is that as Oneplus forgot about loyal fans that pushed this company to the level as it's now, so from this moment I say THANK YOU FOR GREAT EXPERIENCE I had so far and good luck! You are not anymore Flagship Killer and for the price you certainly are not flagship. Looking forward for Huawei and Honor to get back Google services and Oneplus you are gone!

RIP OnePlus, or maybe ONEPLUS I should say. Changing the logo to all caps doesn't make it scream out loud to the world that I've finally turned the leaf and ready to compete with Samsung and Apple topdogs. People must buy me instead of that. See I've R&D for 7months on the logo and font alone!
This is yet another example of something great turning into what they stood against once.
The regular OP8 is an even bigger fail. Full of unneeded compromises.

Lol Samsung isn't even a pioneer in fast charging,why even mention that?
2 batteries charged together or one, End result is faster top up of battery in record time without the heat associated with 65W charging.

Do you know that the 45W of Samsung does not charge faster than the 25W?
Two batteries charged at X watts is not same of one charged at 2x watts. Other should stop doing false advertisement.

There's no such thing as a perfect phone but SHEESH dude you're taking it way too far. The oneplus 8 pro is still a VALUE flagship. It has EVERYTHING the average and tech heads would want at a price tag that's $500 cheaper than the next best competitor. The only thing I was really wishing for was for the option to drop it down to 90hz refresh rate. I think that's honestly the sweet spot and the whole 120hz trend is overkill. 90hz with QHD a 4510 mah battery on an optimized oneplus device would be out of this world amazing.
