      Battery life and optimization is much better than any other brand out there. People are comparing it with Samsung S20 and you are wrong, no offence but you need to use it first side by side with Samsung, For the battery thing, it has WRAP charger and battery is much better than Samsung

      For camera, it took the same photos as iPhone 11 pro max and S20, you can say for the price, it is much better, and camera is almost 95% equal to 11 pro max and s20

        No buddies you are wrong, You are not using the camera correctly, you cannot compare it to s8, comon man, i am oneplus user now for quite many years, switched from iPhone and the only thing I miss is Facetime, nothing else

              Whats happening to OnePlus. In Norway there are 4 brands above 10 000 Norske Kroner (approx. 1000US$). The top tier Huawei. Samsung and Apple, and no, for some stupid reason OnePlus. Why are they doing this. I understand prices go up, but OnePlus's incline is much steeper then any other brand (at least in Norway). I hope the OnePlus Z is real and makes a trend in lover tier affordable OnePlus phones, if not the OnePlus 7T is the last OnePlus I can afford. Its a said day for tech.

                that protruding camera is beyond ridiculous. whoever decided to follow apple trend to make thinner phones is not right up there.

                      For some reason ONE+ can never get the cameras right - they suck every time. There is no visible step up in quality compared to 2-3 year old smartphones. It's a shame because the rest of the phone is pretty sweet, like a lot of ram, SD 865, nice stereo speakers etc.

                      But that price tag is just ridiculous compared to what you can get for the same money at Samsung or Huawei who both has superior cameras - I mean it's not even a competition - ONE+ 8 Pro camera quality looks like something from 2010.

                      My advice is to just buy the 7 Pro or 7T Pro or skip ONE+ and get a Huawei or Samsung instead.

Don't give wrong Information to public. 21W fast charging is enough for me (Sony says 50% in 30 minutes ):). Important for me is Overall battery life anyway. I get 4K HDR Display, Legendary Zeiss, God Tier 20 fps AF/AE, headphones jack, BT.2020 Colour depth, 360 Audio, no puncholes/bholes design, 21.9 cinemawide, front facing Speakers, Cinema pro/Photo pro, 90Hz equivalant , IP65/68 and so on. I would rather spend my extra 200$ on sony with these fetaures than crippled OP8 pro :)

                              A bespoke charger just to get wireless? That's ridiculous.
                              No zoom other than a weak 3x tele - OPPO is the same company and they have made 10x their default, 1+ is losing out because they are a sub-brand.
                              Battery life should be about the same as the 7T Pro? Great, so it will be rubbish.
                              And the price is too high thanks to Qualcomm.
                              They've blown it again, another device for their existing fans.

                                      No audio jack, not even an USB-C to 3,5 mm audio adapter included. No SD card option. Curved screen - meh, even Samsung goes back to flatter screens. And the price - wallet killer :)

The only chance for a discount is when the new generation enters as now. I recommend the Kimovil search engine, it is very convenient to check prices at a Chinese market. I use it myself all the time because there are also discount codes there, for example yesterday some Russian code for OnePlus 8 pro was lowering the price to 604 $.PS I don't advertise this, I just think it's worth trying this way to save money
