Just had to put down my G5S after 2 years when it just stopped charging, for my present G8 Play, and my Lenovo P1 tablet was bought December 2019, the charger stopped working in 7 months.
I hope they've fixed it by now. I want to get a G8 Power this week.
(Cameras on the G8 series are better than the G9s)

Happy New Year all. A quick question about the Moto G8 Power unlocked phone. Can it connect to 5G-variety WiFi? Several reviewers on Amazon highlighted this as an issue. What say you? Please let me know. Thanks so much.

I ordered this since June and received it in September, so far the phone has updated 2 twice .Since the last update to IOS 10 I don't get any notifications for my social media WhatsApp messenger Facebook unless the app is open .Its very frustrating that you have to keep opening the app just to get your notifications. Even when you set it up for pop up notifications. Not sure who to contact about the update

I find it appalling that i've ended up at this sight looking for an honest review. The punch is that there are no cameras that can compete with the moto g line in terms of performance vs. cost. All comparisons are speculations and opinions in an over-valued regard. seriously? gsmarena? It's really like any other phone with a camera. what's the best knife? the knife you have when you need it. bs. on comparison with over-technical jargon. how fast is it? faster than your average millennial outside of their comfort zone! how much does it cost?... i can buy 5 of these for my crew @ the same cost as a top end iphone or galaxy... and i don't have to worry about replacement or insurance. wake up people. china owns your comms. why pay more? why argue for minuscule advancements in comparison to just using the device as a phone/email/text device?

Anonymous, 24 May 2020I just ordered the g8 power,I've also had 3 or 4 motos over... moreI have used the USB c port in many different phones for 4 years now I work construction doing high rises and the charge port has never had I issue also it charges very fast on any phone I do suggest a Samsung adaptive fast charger or any other adaptive charger

Verizon n at&t says its not compatible wit them, but it sold as unlocked , other providers dont work in my area, anybody have a solution to my problem, moto g8 power.
