Moto G8 Power review

I just ordered the g8 power,I've also had 3 or 4 motos over the last few years and overall pretty satisfied,but also the charge port in all of them failed after a year.Hope this c port is better

This phone is not great. This is my 6th Moto G. I've had the G1, G2, G3, G4, G5 and now the G8 power. All the previous Moto Gs I have owned all gave trouble after about 1 year with the charging port, the cable would just not connect to it. The Moto G2 is the only one I have that still works but the speaker broke after a year.
Anyways , I decided to get the G8 power and already within 2 months the charging port is faulty. The cable keeps falling out when connected. I don't know how Motorola (Lenovo) just cannot fix this issue when designing a phone, maybe they want them to be faulty.
Other issues I have with this phone;
- battery life (5000) is not as good as it should be
- screen is very dark during day time unless the brightness is up to maximim
- phone freezes at times and shuts off
Apart from.that it's ok. But would I recommend it? No.

The phone is amazing and really can go 2 days with significant use...
I gave it a try after my broken note 8 and truely suprised what i can get in 200 bucks.
never buying an expensive phone..

Anyways I am sure that the most of the people wouldn' notice it in a blind test with classical music.

I hace just recived my g8 power and I am truly amazed.
If you work with thick gloves or in difficult places and need a camera or a lantern at hand you will greatly appreciate possibility of launching the camera or lantern by just shaking your hand.
Now I am curious to test it for signal quality and battery life in remote or hilly areas.

G8 Power or Samsung M21? The M21 has a 6000 mAh battery, but I don't know how efficient the Exynos 9611 is.

I don't know the logic behind comparing motorola pricing with redmi, realme and huawei.
Motorola is selling these phones in American continents were these brands are not exist or not popular at all.!
Competition is with samsung most time & motorola is far better in pricing than samsung

Do you really think a budget phone could have a flagship processor? When you buy a 500$ laptop, you get a server grade processor, like an i9, for example? No, you get an entry level, medium at best! Same here!

I still don't understand why Motorola uses old snapdragons. This is 2020 and you still went ahead to use snapdragon 665 chipset.. when snapdragon 865 is available. Phones made 2017 has higher versions of snapdragon the LG g6 has snapdragon 820.

Why don't they make real above budget class phones? Like Snapdragon 710-768G, newer sensors, amoled screens, etc?
