Any ghost touch issues with this phone? That's the issue with my XA2 Ultra. Have had it for 2 years and it acts up every once in a while. Have just gotten used to it since it works well and serves its purpose aside from that.

I have bunch of QC2.0, QC3.0 compatible chargers and a power bank. All these seem charging the xperia 10 II with similar speed as the original charger. Looking on the recomended quick charger by Sony it seems to be USB PD compliant. With an old Lumia 950 charger it seems significantly faster.

I am not able to find the CQ3.0 mentioned in any official specs, which could explain why the above happens.

I have not yet tried with any USB PD compatible charger to see

I'm very happy with this phone. Not being either a garner or photo type, I find its performance in all daily tasks excellent. Quick and responsive, without any lagging when switching between apps. I like the form factor, especially its slimness, and I love its low weight. Battery performance is good and more than capable of providing a long day's usage of browsing and productivity tasking. This means there is no need for a larger battery and therefore also no for those extra grams of weight. Also, I am now not in need of dragging along a heavy power bank for those long days. And the best part: it was on sale at one of my country's mobile networks for only €200. That price and your review basically decided the choice of new phone for me!

If sony gives a snapdragon 765G with 6gb ram and a slightly better camera like imx686, i'll definately buy the 10 ii. Xperia 1 ii is too expensive for me. I'll settled with china brand phone no choice. Maybe poco f2 pro or 1 plus nord.

I got a Xperia 10 II with ordinary slow charger 5V-1.5A (UCH20) . WTF? why they give in specification QC compatibility with 18W charging and put charger that is less than half in power?

Any chance of RAW support for the camera?

Quite satisfied with this phone with some bits of downsides with the speaker and camera but that's understandable. Guess I'll look into their flagship models to replace my Mate 20 for good.

I placed the pre-order today and will be receiving it next week. Hope this will rebuild back my trust on this smartphone brand and encourage me to purchase its flagship model.

how many hours of display on? thank you

Nice, light, watreproof phone with capable battery.
Not everyone likes 200grams brick in the pocket.

Anonymous, 17 Jun 2020I bet you can relate to that BrendonNot really. I used to be a fanboi many years ago. Would defend my brand fiercely against anyone who dares challenge it. Then I realised how stupid that was. I use multiple brands for everything. My phone is Xiaomi but before this I had a Samsung and next time I may get a One Plus Z. So I don't stick to one brand but see whats the best value at my given price point. I like Sony products in General as my mirrorless camera system is Sony but their phones I see little value to them.

rullydotcom, 16 Jun 2020it is simply not for youConsidering Sony's miniscule sales their phones don't seem to be appealing to anyone except for a few select fanbois. The sad thing is that fanbois may be vocal about their love for a particular company it doesn't translate into sales which is what Sony desperately needs in order to continue making phones.

Sony hardware R&D guys, gone out of mind, making their fans Fadeway, by giving crap specs at nearly high range prices, saying as mid-range,

have to buy only for being Fan & its Appearance.

I so wanted to buy their old Xperia 10 but it had a SD 630 processor and it was the slowest phone in its price range. The 665 processor is at home on $200 devices and looks woefully out of place on a $350 device. If only they had SD720 or SD730 processor the phone would have been a much more compelling option. I am on lookout to replace my Poco F1 and there is no chance I am going to pay more for a much slower phone. Ill probably spend a bit more and get a Galaxy Note 10 lite or see if I can get a deal on a Poco f2 but thats too highly priced at the moment.

Quality control off the line has big impact on the final price. Device becomes cheaper when every part produced ends up being used instead of cherry picking for the quality. II'm not aware of Samsungs product pipe line but since M line is the bottom feeder it can as easily be the product made out of unused left over parts on A assembly line that couldn't pass quality control.
