    The high quality DAC you're talking about in almost every post can't be differentiate by regular to high quality headphones or regular sound-system.
    It's only possible to differentiate if you have and ultra quality headphone or high quality sound-system.

      If you have both s10 and Rog 2 then compare it side by side. There will be a slight lead by ROG but it doesn't justify the score difference of two mobile by 1 generation in the benchmark apps.

        LG's Quad DAC has been known to actually provide audiophile grade quality.
        Compared to others, it stands somewhere in the middle of dedicated DAC's. So, actually someone might consider it as a dedicated DAC replacement, and many already did, if pages on internet are to be believed..

          The thing is, the reason statements given are inaccurate & misleading, something they should've not done. I only request them to stop using these statements review after review.

          Its an injustice against companies like LG and Samsung, who're fitting good quality DAC's and giving good audio performance, only to be compared with the likes of Oneplus and Mi who just use regulation DAC of Qualcomm.

              I understood what you're trying to say.
              Yes it's possible that games are more optimized for Qualcomm.

              But in Geekbench 5, only Qualcomm isn't the one who's getting performance. Actually Huawei Kirin is getting the highest performance boost while going to Geekbench 5 from 4.
              For example, Between Kirin 980 and Exynos 9820.
              If you test it on geekbench 4 then Exynos comes on top.
              But if you do the test on Geekbench 5 then Kirin 980 comes on top by a respectable margin.

              So, the test is affecting only Exynos. Possibly the test is a different test which rely on CPU cache. As exynos has different type of cache. It's just my guess. The reason might be something else.

              SN: Told you, Exynos 980 is going to be pretty efficient and won't throttle.
              This review has proved it.

You forgot to include that.... moreMaybe they are just testing newer APIs or something similar, in version 5, then do a fallback to an older one, if the SoC doesn't support them. Kind of like PC games which run in DirectX 10, but fall back to DirectX 9, in case the GPU/OS doesn't support version 10 (or you force it to run under 9). And, since they run differently, you can have differences in performance, even on the same hardware.

                It could also mean that Gbench 5 puts emphasis on new hardware features, which are better optimized on Qualcomm's SoCs (like the AI engine). Now, that doesn't necessarily mean that one chip is better than the other in ALL conditions. It all depends on what you run on them and which parts of the SoC are being exploited by each app.

                It's always nice to discuss with you, mate.

                    The Samsung midranger are just made for AMOLED fanboys. Moreover there are too many issues with oled screens. I still keep my device during more than two years so I need LCD screen.

                      You forgot to include that.
                      When you add the word 'somehow' to the satement "Geekbench is lowering the Exynos multicore score" Then it has a different meaning than saying only "Geekbench is lowering the Exynos multicore score".
                      I know these bench-marking apps run several tests to give a score. Possibly there was a/2 type of test in Geekbench 4 in which Exynos was very good at and Geekbench 5 doesn't have that test. So, Exynos gets less score. I didn't say it was intentional.
                      As I didn't know the exact test/reason for it happens I said--
                      "Somehow Geekbench 5 is lowering the Exynos multicore score."

                      And that is what happening
                      Geekbench 5 is lowering the score somehow.
                      Geekbench 4 is not.
                      Also in AntuTu the exynos has respectable CPU lead(about 12%) over SD765G.

                          A statement saying that "Geekbench 5 is LOWERING the Exynos score" denotes a negative connotation which were addressed negatively towards Geekbench 5 to a point that a non-sophisticated person would think that it implies negative intent (unless you yourself, wants to imply negative intent) of Geekbench towards Exynos.

                          The use of the term "lowering" is not justifiable via your examples given, well unless as I've said, you intend to inlfict malice towards Geekbench. In fact, your samples just shows that Exynos scores are lower and NOT Geekbench 5 LOWERING Exynos score.

                          As easy as that.

The explanation may not be completely acceptable to audiophiles, but then true audiophiles listen to portable daps or dac/amps not their smartphones which provide an inferior sound even with dedicated dacs.

                                      Long story short, they're probably not going to change their minds. Headphones jacks are going the way of the dodo. True audiophiles rely on better equipment.

                                        Ok, what I have concluded from this is:
                                        This is an best selling midrange ANDROID phone in western countries. Probably will be in India too.
                                        It is the one to beat. Take all what you have, on it with similar pricing or just go with same offer, but for cheaper.
                                        It cost 460€, often can be fund for less, like 400€ in Europe.
                                        Compared to LG Valvet, which have no price yet, but if it will be similar to that one in South Korea, A51 5G is much better choice.
                                        My conclusion:
                                        LG Valvet is a flanker.

                                        XIAOMI...no thanks, great price, but never again MIUI.
                                        But it is just me...ok, some Indians (2. biggest market for Xiaomi) will think twice before shopping something from China, but with that price, it will be sold as a cookies.

                                        Oneplus Nord!?
                                        If rumours are true, it won't be any better, nor cheaper....so it will go against this Samsung (which has support of carriers) in Europe and against (no matter price difference of OP devices on different markets) cheaper Mi10 lite 5G in India.
                                        HUAWEI, unfortunately don't have much chance to play in same category...

                                        So...well done Samsung.
                                        You did it right this time.
                                        And in a month or two, when prices goes down little bit more, this will be absolute best selling, no matter the price category.

                                        If only you could offer something similar in higher tier, where there Apple rules.
