It has a good camera though and beats any Huawei Nova5T or Nova 7, and since it uses a Sony camera and Sony stereo, it's a consolation to a music weenie.

I just bought Reno 4 pro 3 days ago, just wanna try the AI Colour portrait camera feature but it doesn't have. It gives you only 5 filter choises named P1, P2, P3, P4, P5 and surprisingly, none of them is what I'm looking for

Does this phone display support HDR10 ? because many sites claim it does while others say the indian version has dropped the HDR support. Can anyone please test this ?

Everything is perfect, only Snapdragon 720G is worst inthis high price catagory , At least Snapdragon 765 should have to be in place of 720 G then ill call it a perfect mid-range phone ,
Ill prefer Pocophone f2 pro in same price segment with Snapdragon 865 chipset
Oppo lost it's mind i guess

MurthY, 07 Aug 2020You will not get andriod updates in oppo itd waste. Only co... moreThen you definitely haven’t used any Oppo phone since 2019 onwards. I’ve been using the Oppo F11 Pro for over 1.25 years now and I get monthly security patches, yes, monthly security patch updates! I had a fingerprint scanner bug recently in July which they fixed by another OTA in almost 12-13 days. There are very few companies who really care about software updates this much, it was simple: we F11 Pro users reported the bug and they Got to work almost immediately and yes, this is ColorOS 7 I’m talking about. Even on ColorOS 6, I had bimonthly security patch upfdates, so, for an older phone to see improvements in update cycles is rare, right? Regarding Android updates....I got Android 10 in February because I did the ColorOS beta for my device. Normal users got it in April, which isn’t too bad, but I would still say it can be improved to shorter timeframes.
Be sure you use any recent Oppo phone before commenting about ‘non existent’ software updates.

Even though I’m an Oppo user and I genuinely love what they do, I’ll still go for the Vivo X50 over this anyday. Sd720G and lack of a telephoto camera make it slightly overpriced, but everything else about it is absolutely brilliant from my usage perspective. Sorry Oppo, your sister Vivo did it better this time.

GSMARENA guys... I have been following you from a very long time.... This time you guys are overhyping this phone by comparing it to flagship and 5G smartphones while it is just a midrange phone with curved screen...

The fact that they are still using the Snapdragon 720G for their new releases says a lot.

Sorry, but I'd rather much prefer the Reno2. The only thing I might miss from the Reno4 Pro is the 65W fast charging rate, but even that didn't interest me as I'm far more interested in long term battery longevity instead of short term short charging time.

I am a little disappointed with this phone.
The camera loses zoom, degrades in processor, it is plastic.
Compared to the Chinese version, it is below.

Love the 90hz refresh. Big difference between 60hz refresh when you're scrolling webpages.

Cons: Oppo usually has minimal radio bands and the International Reno4 Pro is no exception. It wouldn't work well where I live or anywhere I travel.
It's a shame that sibling OPO has all the radio bands but not the headphone jack and memory slot.
