If only it had a metal frame and proper telephoto lens. It'd be worthy of consideration then.

No mention of x2 pro as competition, ohh i understand it's not a competition, it's a better phone altogether.

Terrible experience, just three days after buying one directly from one plus and the battery is broken.

I am an old One plus user. after deciding to upgrade from my one plus 5, decided to go with the Nord model. Everything went wrong from the beginning.

          - They promised some perks for an early purchase which were unavailable on the day it was launched.
          - The battery is broken after two charges. now battling with cs to get the refund
          - poor camera quality especially for night pics
          - just C USB port for headphone

          REALLY DISSAPOINTED

Putting a plastic frame to a "NEVER SETTLE" 400 EUR phone was a mistake.

It's nice to see a gadget blog finally recognising how these corporations market things with fake hype and incognito influencers.

Now, it would be nice if that was also recognised concerning that big elephant in the room.

Would rather buy Asus zenfone 5z or 6z over this.

                  There's a Problem with a login session

It is also worth mentioning the cheaper Realme X50 5G. Considering weight, size, hardware and software specs, the Nord has the right balance for the average user (Although I'm still struggling to adjust the display's contrast)

Hello Life, 11 Aug 2020What? 855+ is now old? It's probably 3rd or 4th fastes... moreAgreed........ It may be an older chipset chronologically... Coz 765G was technically announced later and is hence "newer"..... But the 855+ still performs much better in games and other demanding scenarios

Anonymous, 11 Aug 2020Camera is much better in respect of its competition and ove... moreI wouldn't call it "poor gaming performance"
Its a Snapdragon 765G....... Its decent enought for pubg on high settings with decent framerates...
But yes it cannot hold a candle to the 800 series of chipsets
But calling it poor is a bit of an overstatement

Poco with proper warranty costs 550€, 350+ Pocos are from China, worse QC, and problems with security apps.

You can get Nord for 370€. that is almost 200€ difference price.

Also Poco is very heavy. 40gr is a lot.

Plastic frame isn't an issue. Never had problems with plastic frames, but had with metal ones. A fall from a high place bends permanently a aluminum frame, plastic resists that more easily. Unless you are sitting on your phone (that you shouldn't even with metal frame, as glass can break...).

Xiaomi drops phones support very quickly. This is a plus for the Nord.

Unless you game, the Nord is a much better option.

We gonna see all those chinese version Pocos with a motorized camera, without warranty in trash bins in a year.

I believe that there are much better phone than nord. And 400usd is too much for nord.

This phone is not at all good. There are hangups in the phone and it switches off and on automatically when the softwares are upgraded. Please dont buy this phone.

Should've saved those millions on marketing by investing a better frame and display.
Cheap plastic that will no doubt chip over time and structurally insecure.
Cheap display with rainbow discoloration off-axis and tinting at low brightness levels.

Tons of shortcomings, yet this phone got 5 stars. The camera isnt good, the screen refresh rates switch between 60 Hz and 90 Hz, average camera, weak build, no headphone jack. K30 is a no brainier over this. But gsma still gave it 5 stars, smh. Well, no surprises actually, coz gsma seems to seriously bias apple and 1+ products. Also, how the hell does "poor ultrawide" fall under "pros"?
