This phone should cost 250€ max, not 350. Even redmi note 9 pro which is 220€ is better deal than this in every segment except screen.

Feels like a biased review. This has the best camera of any Android phones at the price, 3 years of software updates, more than any other Android phone at this price. Stock Android itself is also really good. 5G is still not an important feature as they are not well established enough yet.
I think the rating should be higher, at least 4 stars. Furthermore, "not much of an upgrade over the Pixel 3a" should not be a con since not everyone uses a Pixel 3a.
For anyone who have not used a Pixel, this is a great phone owing to its price, compact size, camera, stock Android and 3 years of support. It's a phone for everyone.

Why? because most modern smartphones already take good photos and it just a matter of preference as to which one you like more. I used to believe that Pixel phones have the best camera in all smartphones only to get a little disappointed when I tried GCam ports. Yes, the Night Sight is among the best. The "focus tracking" feature is unrivaled. The portrait mode is lovely. But that "cooler" look in daytime shots are not appealing to me. I prefer the output of Samsung or Sony which is more on the warmer and saturated side. This is just my preference though and I understand other people may have different preferences. That is why we cannot say that "this camera phone is better than this" because good photos can be subjective and just a matter of preference.

Link the price or your claim is a lie, and no imports, India prices or sales, the Mi 10 Lite is at least 310 euro at the moment.
It is so annoying that people claim these stupidly low prices but never link it, links or it didn't happen.

How about name other brands as well? No? (some users here are just too much of Xiaomi fanboys, while even some otger chinese brands are as good nowdays)
Anyhow Gcam doesn't solve all the issues, I use Gcam and while it does a lot for better picture quality, it's not the same whatever you try.
Best case scenario is to get as close possible same image quality.

No mention of the Xperia 10 ii as an alternative? It's compact, has an OLED screen, is IP68 rated, looks premium, priced the same as the iPhone SE 2020.
