I do not understand why the only phone with a stylus has a curved display. Does not make sense (and looks ugly). I really would like to know what the Samsung engineers have thought...

John, 25 Jul 2021So the phone got 88 hours of battery rating in 1080p 120Hz ... moreYou didn't mention that 1440p 60hz STILL gets like 20 percent more battery life than 1080p 120hz. Yet we lost 1440p on vanilla samsung flagships, and people still defend this BS decision.

          a good phone

Had lots of Samsung phones and this one is BY FAR the biggest piece of junk.
The internet disconnects all the time, and even starting it over and over doesn't help.

So half of the time, no internet.
I only bought this due to internet problems with the note 9. In the end, the thieves that I bought it from, Dynamic a, completely wiped this phone of everything when it was one day.
I don't think that I will ever buy another Samsung since this one was a total waste of money.

If you want a very expensive paperweight, then you can buy this phone.

Android enthusiast. I usually get China phones and test different ROMs and build recoveries. I have the Huawei, Oukitel and Xiaomi flagships before but seem to go back to Samsung. I've had the Note 20 Ultra for a year and seem to go back. I have not rooted or installed custom ROMs because the software development is that good. This phone works with experimental apps, all wireless devices, and never has any issues. I have compared it with the Iphone 12 pro's camera, display, processing, and versatility. The Note 20 Ultra still surpasses. The thought of using it as a desktop is impressive using DEX. There are so many custom features built in and there is no need to flash anything. I think they used better quality sensors and antennas then other phones. The experiment; Went hiking in the middle of no where. Brought all my phones to test signals and the Note 20 Ultra was the only phone that worked. I have many apps running and connected devices and battery is drained quicker than normal use. But that's expected. It would be nice to have a larger battery and I'm a big fan of the larger displays.

I had used Motorola or HTC phones for years after a horrible experience with Samsung. This phone is solid in performance and battery life and restored by faith in Samsung. My only grip is the odd build out for the camera however this have leveled out by purchasing a quality case.

I've owned samsung phones on and off for years. The last I owned was the galaxy edge 6. It's been a while and with all of the advancements occurring I figured I'd give it another shot.

It amazes me that Samsung still hasn't worked out all the issues that I have with this phone. It freezing daily and reboots periodically. It's like a second rate hone in a beautiful box the screen size is great gotbthe largest one. Over all I guess I like the phone but def not worth the price tag. Luckily I bought it buy one get one free but I would have been pisssd if I spent anywhere retail.

The brightness could be better and if you turn it up will suck the battery. The voice recognition is crap. I say, while driving as a text, I can't go to the store. It may write Lindsey Lohan is a whole. Don't send a text without proof reading it. I bought the Samsung watch and it gives you an option to use Google voice. At least they got kind of smart and I have to see if that update applies to the phone. If you can use another voice option use it.
The phone freezes all the time. In fact before writing on the the phone froze rice and had to reboot and in fact rebooted once by it self.
Bluetooth issues and seems more software issues that for some strange reason they had the same problems in old phone.
Forget about playing any graphic games.

So I can't go though all the issues but they are daily, the thumb print doesn't work. You put your finger prints in an extensive gather info but stops responding and redo thumb print over many times. At this point I don't even bother. The camer is good but nothing I can say is great. The specs are better on paper...freezing connectivity issues poor voice
I feel like I'm saying what a piece of shit all too often.

got my new Note 20 Ultra phone and immediately has wifi connection problem. Wasn't able to connect to wifi. After many calls and remote diagnostic done, had to bring it down to Samsung Service Center (my "new phone's" 3rd day). Their "QC" checked and indicated "No Fault!" on the report. Brought back home and still couldn't connect to wifi. Had to bring it down to SSC again and shouted at the manager. She finally tested herself and said will bring it up to management for either repair (yes, they may try to repair a new phone!) or exchange a new phone. The above took 1 month and i am still waiting for SSC's reply to get my "new phone"... Such low quality and bad customer service for a $1k+ so-called "high end" phone. Last Samsung phone for me...
