I charged this phone with PD 3.0 GaN 30W charger
For some reason, the peak charge is 29W, then dropped to 11W if heating like 40° or during using the phone.
Been using this phone from 2021 and still work fine without issues, just the backdoor glue fading out.
Just slap adhesive glue T7000 and press it for about several hours, If you glued it well, it'll still have ip68 like mine

You can find manufacturing date in the phone serial number:
The 4th digit is the year and the 5th digit the month, for example RFCT6XXXXXX means, that phone was manufactured in June 2022.

        N - 2020

              • Question for all who owns this phone.
              - Is it normal to lose 20% battery per hour on games like genshin/Blue archive?
              - Only on games, on apps like YT and browsing i get 10% per hour/55 min.
I see answers saying close to 10 hours per charge or so.
But all those answers are from 2 to 3 years, basically launch date...

Heavy to moderate use (calls, videos, social media, lots of messaging) will make the battery last 10-12 hours. If you attempt gaming, it will probably run out of juice after couple of hours. You can prolong the battery life in any usage scenario by setting refresh rate to 60Hz, dimming the screen and using apps in dark mode, switching off BT and WiFi when not in use and using 4G instead of 5G.

Ibn Batuta, 22 Jun 2023How's s20fe doing?Mine is still functioning perfectly. I bought it about a month after it was released on T-Mobile.

"You'd expect 8MP shots out of a 32MP Quad Bayer imager, but these end up being 10MP."
" The telephoto cam is the other new bit on the Fan Edition. Weirdly enough, that too outputs 12MP images "
" Additionally, how it manages to get 3840x2160px capture from a sensor that's nominally 3264x2448px, is a bit perplexing. "

I think Samsung quickly packed S20's software blindly into the S20 FE, without regarding sensor differences or something. These are some funny errors indeed.

Can anybody confirm if these odd resolutions have been solved with a firmware update?

The culprit is the Emergency call button on the lock screen which, unfortunately, cannot be removed. The only remedy is to turn off "tap 2x to wake screen" gesture. You can also try to put the phone in your pocket with the screen facing outwards (so it doesn't touch your body).

Anonymous, 25 Mar 2023My S20 FE 5G standby battery drain is 3% per hour, it'... moreWell it happened to me on my poco X2. But after doing some work of understanding the battery health, I got rid of it.

Firstly avoid charging your phone's battery too soon. I mean don't charge until percentage reaches 20%.

Secondly avoid frequent charge. If the battery is 35% , don't charge it , close down all the apps, turn the battery
saver on and keep your phone for stanby for 10 minutes.

Thirdly don't use your phone in hot environment. Sure it can survive few drops, splashes and dust but batteries in general doesn't like heat. If the phone gets too much warm to handle, try cooling it down.

                                  Fourthly don't charge more than 80% .
Keep the ideal charging between 80 to 20% for better health also only use the charger came with the original box.

                                  Hope that will help

Samsung phones suck. After an update 3 weeks ago, my phone will make emergency calls randomly. I removed the emergency call icon from my lock screen...still makes calls. I've had 911 operators call me back because the phone was in my pocket and I didn't realize it called. 5 minutes ago I'm hearing, "911 operator, what is your emergency?" coming from my phone in my pocket. Total BS, Samsung!

Had the S20 FE for 2 months, it got bent somehow (even though i dont walk with it in my pocket, nor it seemed the have any damages) and stopped charging. The technical support declined helping and said it not under the guerntee anymore.
Wouldn't recommend, never happened to me with any other phone , must be extremely delicate.
