The telephoto camera is able to do very decent macro shots. I'm surprised neither Samsung or most reviews mentions this macro feature.

[deleted post]The phone I use is beyond what you can afford.
You don't even have a bin, you sleep inside a public tooooilet.
Ever since your entire island was swallowed by Tssssunami, that public toooooilet is your permanent home.

Anonymous, 08 Oct 2020Because it is 1080p.
Those lower resolution modes exist j... moreOnly OP8 pro/Find X2 pro has QHD@120hz.
Rest all operate at 1080p+
Which proves that resolution consumes more battery than high refresh rate.
Your beloved Sony got higher score with 1080p@120hz.

While predictable, how is lack of headphone jack not a con for this phone? There is TOTAL space for that port and they still leave it out. It's not made by fans if that's missing...

I decided to swap my S10 for the S20 FE 5G. I can tell that the display is great (though quite cool as usual), good performance across the board (my iPhone 11 is still even faster and throttles less, though, but much better than the S10). Battery life is also great as GsmA said. Speakers are good, but not great.
The rear facing camera is good but I dislike the selfie camera.

This phone will fine for for a few months. Will likely sell in Feb or March 2021 when a better android one 5G comes out. I have had it for almost a week and have how the samsung software operates. Yes I am one of those pure vanilla android fans but thought the pixel 5 spec were not good enough.

Cameras have sensors 3:2 , no photographer uses 4:3.
16:9 is available in most phones, but will drop resolution a lot, also photos, will have less quality on edges like seen in pictures taken by ultra wide.

Almost any phone and camera takes 4:3 by default, as it's the maximum resolution. 16:9 should be available in any phone. 1:1 and the device's aspect ratio should be there too.

I think there is no better camera in this price range. Especially if you want the versatility from the telephoto camera
