Why is everyone recommending S20 FE if it has touchscreen issues which were not fixed after THREE software updates?

Debuting with Reno "10x zoom" but now it's content with a mere 2x zoom.

I mean elephant in the room is the X2 Neo / Reno3 5G, which is identical (save for slower VOOC charging) and this phone is basically a relaunch of. It can also be found for 200 EUR less.

GSM Boy, 24 Nov 2020Yes, I think the 20FE would be the benchmark of what a true... morethe 20 fe that is overpriced? probably not in the us, but it's more than the price of an iphone 12 mini

Dennis.K, 24 Nov 2020And mid range camerayet the cameras on the reno would be way better than the 8 that's supposed to be a flagship
when a midrange phone has all useful cameras, but the flagship has a macro

nanagdad, 24 Nov 2020Same price with oneplus 8. I would pick oneplus 8 easy with... moreAnd mid range camera

MarOMG, 23 Nov 2020It's price class. For that money you can get far bette... moreIg makes sense

Oppo : waiting to be on the Top 10 list pick by fans by GSM arena
Xiaomi : waiting for GSM to add another set of list " top 10 Xiaomi phones "

Piphacker, 24 Nov 2020I think Oppo living in fool's paradise, look at it... moreTrue. Xiaomi will offer much cheaper midrangers with the same chip but they will not have the same type of camera set-up (with OS on the main cam or good quality ultrawide and telephoto). Also the build quality and screen quality won't be of the same standard and the phones will be much bulkier and heavier so there are sacrifices. Basically this is like a flagship in most areas but with a mid range chip. Definitely not good bang for the buck though. Even in China it's more expensive than the OP8t which is basically also coming from Oppo and the Samsung galaxy s20 fe is just a small bit more expensive. Same price as a mi10 in China too

Ali Othman, 23 Nov 2020I thought it was a 400/500$ device.Oppo are overpricing their Reno series and do not take care of the performance of the phone

Piphacker, 24 Nov 2020I think Oppo living in fool's paradise, look at it... moreI think that it's their business strategy, overpricing their phones and let the price slide down to 15%-20% after 2-3 months, thus making money on its initial run. A lot of people don't really know the specs of their phone and this is the reason why Oppo still exist . I would go with the Mi 10T pro or S20 FE over this

Hmm pricing differs like for me it's at $550

MarOMG, 23 Nov 2020It's price class. For that money you can get far bette... moreYes, I think the 20FE would be the benchmark of what a true value flagship killer is , even Xiaomi was surprised with its pricing. Im not sure what Oppo is smoking when they priced this phone. cmon 765 with 4000 mah 90hz , it looks a mid-tier phone with that kind of specs.

Same price with oneplus 8. I would pick oneplus 8 easy with SD 865

I think Oppo living in fool's paradise, look at it's insanely high price & not justifying its specifications
Xiaomi will offer same specification phone in half of it's price

The price is silly but at least in the UK it comes with £250 headphones which makes it acceptable... If you were planning on spending that kind of money on some headphones already. Which is also a bit silly.

I thought it was a 400/500$ device.
