      Correction... “almost” isn’t even accurate. It is not as good. Someone that takes photos will know the importance of zoom both pros and cons because using that feature changes the outcome of the picture drastically, especially when printed. A 5x periscope with 10x zoom is poor quality zooming. Not just relevant for phones but professional cameras, Zoom option is not only a necessary feature but optical zoom is critical for the quality of any picture. Zooming in isn’t ideal unless it’s used very little, it actually ruins the quality of the image. Which is the 10x zoom you refer to. Optical zoom with great quality telescope lens or telescope lens features with optical zooming (cell phones) offers great quality photos. Anything else ruins the picture. A very little manual zoom with that won’t make a huge difference but 10x is a joke. I’d get into the reasons and the importance of pixels and then the importance of pixel quality pending the telescope lens and type of zooming but enough has been said. Apple iPhone 12 pro max is ALMOST comparable to a professional level camera. A basic digital camera provides average quality pictures, it usually has 5x with the option of manually zooming in but ever notice the more you zoom in manually the quality of the image gets distorted. The pixels and sensors regardless of zoom make the difference, add zoom into the equation and the periscope with the option of 10x manual if used compared to quality lens sensors and optical zoom.... there is absolutely no comparison. Might look great on your phone. Might look semi decent printed in 4x6 photos. Put that same picture next to professional grade option printed 8x10 picture it will speak for itself.

            Apple should stop playing gimmicks of shortchanging customers by not giving them the charger and earphones and by passing these off as a beneficent action for the environment. Apple seems to be not content with already charging through the roof for its products at almost 4X the bill of materials (not including workforce costs and other intangibles here) and sitting on a pile of cash / profits that it is now resorting to fleece its customers off by not giving them the aforementioned accessories. People are smart enough to understand that this is not out of concern for environment but to reduce its own costs down and to in turn, pick up some more profits at the cost of its customers. Despicable. More countries should act like Brazil did to force Apple to include these accessories if they were interested in selling iPhones in Brazil.

                  My perfect iPhone would be a ‘iPhone 13 Pro Max’: with every spec the iPhone 12 Pro Max has, plus some specs of the best Samsung; Oppo, Oneplus-phones:

                  - 5000 (or more) mAh battery. Or a revolutionair new chip and screen, that needs 4 times less battery. If anyone could do, it’s Apple. They did with the M1-chip.

                  - 50 watt wired charging/and 30 watt wireless charging (Oneplus can do it, they claim.. so why Apple not, even with the ‘superior’ MagSafe-technique). How can you plan to delete the charging-port from the iPhone 13, when wireless charging is still on 15 watt max? It will be a downgrade at the charging-aspect of the Phone. A downgrade even compared to the iPhone 8 (!) (and all the other models with a charging port you can charge with an PD USB-c charger at 18 watt). Unless they can add it ‘MagSafe 3.0’ with at least 20 or 30 watt-quick charging.

                  - 120 refresh rate-screen

                  But the perfect phone seems impossible as i said :(

Lol the 7 series isn't even getting Android 11 until January 2021 LOL yah you got Android 11 cause OnePlus only updates the flagship phones of their current year cycle. Come back to me next year and let's see if you have android 12 before everyone else LOL

                        this phone sometimes volumes up and down automatically and while watching videos screen was on and off itself, after restore stopped screen on/off, but still volume was up and down just sometimes, anyone has this issue?

                            I don't care about the cons specially the refresh rate. People who can't live without it can go buy an android phone. Just don't complain if you're not receiving updates or system upgrades after a year of using it. Also, if you miss the touchID, then go buy the SE 2nd Gen -- then again, don't complain about its huge bezel. Don't complicate things too much, if you hate iPhones, don't buy it. Period.

Not only that, but they are cutting back some features and deliberately omitting others. No charger, no headphones, same camera quality generation after generation, no high refresh rate screen when everyone else has one, and no under-display fingerprint reader when everybody is forced to wear a mask.

                                Apple is certainly not a company to go with the trends. On the opposite, their success in doing things differently has turned them into a trend-setter. For any other company, any of these decisions would have led to a severe backlash. Yet, Apple's mobile business is doing better than ever. "

                                Reading this one would say guys are right. But when you know a bit more it sounds like you would be doing you first review in mobile industry or iPhone at least.
                                Apple plans things year(s) in advance. They have to secure parts in quality they require, price a and large amount they need long time ago before production starts. Your moaning about missing that a this sounds so cheap and lame. Expect change in design half a year before release because of overblown pandemic makes me laugh.
                                Other aspect is user experience.If something would hurt user experience it can not pass into product.
                                So NO, you could not get underscreen finger print scanner in this version a nd you could not get 120 Mhz screen even it was tested for this release. It would kill battery life. And no, you wont get thick iPhone ever just to house huge battery to fit all your expectation.
                                You need to get quality/amount/price 120 Mhz screen with variable bitrate, ideally from other supplier then Samsung first. You need to have X60 Qualcom 5G modem with much better efficiency and A15 focused on efficiency as well so user experience is up to expectation.
                                Rest of review is probably fine, have not read it all but I would like to see more deeper dive into whether better sensor with better stabilization makes difference and when yes and when not.
                                Few other points. Extra durable screen can be reason to upgrade for some as it can save a lot of money. Otherwise I can agree there is not big reason to upgrade from 11. Neither 5G, Wifi 6, speed or bit better pics other then low light are not that important. But why the hell need someone upgrade phone every year?
                                Of course if you are film maker or photographer then it is no brainier because of Dolby vision and AppleRAW.

                                  Obviously good device but not for middle class family. Actually it is for Rich.

                                    Such an amazing phone. I really liked it when I bought this monster. Camera quality is just superb. I also like the design. The display is just amazing. Loved apple and apple products. Well just looking for amazing covers for this one and find that at Pivoi.
