The A13 scored around 1400-1500 in Single core yet comfortably lost to almost every Snapdragon 865 phone in real world speed tests.
Snapdragon 865 single core was around 900.

Just my 2c, but the iphone seemed to be doing the best all-around, with no major mistakes. It's a camera that I would use any day without worry. The xperia seems to be the worst one, even though it was the one I was hoping would turn everything around :(
The Mate 40 Pro seems, in my eyes, tied to the iphone, but we rarely pixel-peep these days, especially when sharing or using services such as google photos (RIP),

Whenever somebody with an iphone and me, with a galaxy, did a late-evening shootout, the iphone always won. It just has a higher rate of successful photos, something reviews rarely catch.
I now own a Pixel which has an even better success rate, though it fails all reviews. I'd really wish they'd get their game up-to-date and deliver some new technology that's not from 3 years ago.

My TLDR is, don't trust the reviews so much, although they are very useful. Go and use the phone for a night and a day, you might be surprised.

Overall, if i am travelling and i need a camera that i can rely on, i will pick :
                1. Mate 40 Pro
                2. Note 20 Ultra
                3. IPhone 12 Pro Max
                4. Maybe the Mi 10 Ultra

Huawei Mate 40 and the iPhone 12 Pro Max are leading the pack. Samsung and Sony has a lot of catching up to do.

Could find anything to back up your 'exposed' claim.

The chip throttles badly and is losing in speed tests as well.
Real world speed tests not Simulated benchmarks like GaryGimmick that you are plastering everywhere.
Not to forget the total battery hog that is 5g. So much for the 5g marketing.

I seen numerous posts from him and others claiming iOS iPhone users to be jealous of this single feature.

What he fails to comprehend (or is incapable of) is that if this were true, then the moment it became clear the 12 series lacked this feature, you would have seem a massive drop in iPhone sales as users rushed out to make the swap to the droids that have it.

This however has not happened, proving again that whilst iPhone users might desire this single one feature, they are not desperate for it, and quite content to wait.

And seeing as how most iPhone users can easily afford an android should they suddenly want one, this ‘jealousy’ nonsense really comes across as childish.

And wishing the iPhones had it is a kind of criticism, criticism saying that iPhones should have got 120hz. Suddenly actual "acceptable" criticism is absolute iPhone bashing.

JDK, 01 Dec 2020Hmmmm they all say good stuff about apple products, eh? ... moreAwwww they wished it had it... That's not criticism in any way, shape or form.
120hz is a standard feature on Flagships in 2020.
It's even available on mid rangers and budget phones.
No excuse for Apple sticking to 60hz.

If they would have said, "60hz is simply unacceptable in 2020 for a flagship that calls itself premium", I would have called it criticism.
You are proving my point, they are simply sweeping the shortcomings of iPhones under the carpet which is exactly what biased sites do.

Yes he found battery drain to be the bigger issue as opposed to thermal throttling.

And your right, who posters on these forums consider as credible lines very much up with the level of agreement to their pre existing biases.

I personally have found people like EverythingApplePro, TailosiveTech Zollotech, even Rene Ritchie all quite willing to criticise Apple where they feel it warranted, even though they are quite obviously Apple fans.
