Wait, GSMarena is saying that 4 months for a platform update isn't an issue and that "so perhaps the narrative about the late updates is itself outdated."??? Are they being serious right now?
FOUR MONTHS waiting for a platform update is abysmal.

One UI 3 messed up my S20 notification with the brief or detailed choice...carefull with that i had to spend alot of time to get my message notification back again.

I received the update on Monday to my Note 20. My Gmail will not push notifications or sound an alert. I have to manually update my email to check it. Bad update. I am with ATT and the phone worked perfectly before the update.

AnonD-973296, 30 Dec 2020so android central is saying that s10 lineup should get one... moreThese dates of rolling out one ui 3.0 may no be true because as per the website m31 device should have rolled out with one ui 3.0 in march but it is now progressing with beta updates that have been rolled in last week of dec..so you can not trust dates preferred by websites..

fas... moreDont alot of people say 1440p adds nothing to the screen that you cant see the difference at all and it takes away battery life. Apple iphones even Pro Max pretty much have 1080 displays they like 1100p or 1200p.

One feature Samsung removed with this update is the ability to hide the punch hole camera with black background which we could do previously in the settings called Full screen apps.

Kudos Samsung people will continue to hate on them but I aint surprised they the number 1 OEMout there. Considering the amount of devices they have and the different cpu versions its amazing how fast they released Android 11.

After two or three One UI updates, the only thing I have noticed and really helped me was the software power button. Changes that are so small, that nobody notices. So much thought consumed on trivial things and still we do not have a full screen caller ID picture.
