YUKI93, 28 Feb 2021"Please, return to being a credible and trustworthy pl... moreI is a phone it makes calls it runs apps and it kind of takes pictures it runs for days and does more then a lot of people will believe. but the Manufacturer is a bit shady and the Q.A. is worse then i would care to see. a good doogee phone is actually a joy to use.. a bad one ... well you better be a hardware geek or your not getting it fixed easily.. but it is also the most repairable phone i have ever worked on so at least they are simple to fix lol

My Doggee S88 Pro cannot receive incoming calls. It will ring but will end the call once I press to receive the call.

I have my S88 Pro for a full year now and it still works without any issues.
I did an accidental drop test of around 8 meters where my phone fell from my pocket as I was leaning, and still works perfectly without any defects.
This is a decent rugged phone and especially for someone working in the field, the only thing I feel can be upgraded is the cameras on this phone. The cameras are low quality and one would rather expect something better like perhaps adding a 40 MP seeming this phone is already equipped with a high res pixel screen.
Other than that, this is a remarkable phone with lots of storage, nice one DooGee!

Hello. After almost a year of using the phone I have the following to say:
As a device it is quite good without any particular problems. One that I have seen (I do not know if it is on my device) is the GPS and the other tools that Protractor has, Plumb Pop. But the main thing is the Gps. He loses the signal several times but is also slow to find a signal. It is quite important for anyone who uses it.

Hi. I purchased my Doogee S88pro about 3 weeks ago. After setting it all up and making sure there were no more updates ,I started using it. I really like the phone but have 2 problems
Firstly the auto rotate will not work. I have tried on and off repeatedly in both menu's
Secondly and more importantly.
After using the phone for a couple of days it, instead of going to sleep mode, turns itself completely off. So I miss messages and phone calls that I can not afford to miss.
I have searched for a remedy, I have found others that have had the same fault but nothing to rectify it.
If anyone can help please.

I have use S88 Pro from 2020 November till now, and this is my 7th rugged phone start with doogee D70 (so old) , Black view, ulefone armor, then doogee s60 and then armor 5 and then Homtom z11.
I cannot say I will abuse like the test people to water it, freeze it, heat it up or drop it over 10-15 ft, but I am still go out to forest, mountains, wet area, even shower throughout the year. Drop it on hard floor over 100 times (around 2 to 3 ft), and then I got a TPU case after a while. Although I did not use all high end rugged phone, but this one is probably the most valued one with the fastest processor, much Ram, storage (I put a lot of offline maps and survival apps in it) and battery along with wireless charging. It is already light with 10000mah battery (but still thick, though small than a z11 that fit in Trail runner backpack or tactical vest ), already feel it's smoothness browsing when you first start it and play around it. I cannot say the camera is the best but still decent enough Honestly, I agree with GSMArena's comment, that the camera is not that great, but I have my purpose to buy this. That's why the price is not that expensive compare to other high end brand.
Anyway, I like this model because Doogee now smart enough to follow other manufacturers to put soft bump on all 4 corners like z11 and armor, before is hard plastic which is easy broken or which cause water leak. plus now you can buy tpu and other case with it which many phone doesn't have. I will recommend if you are outdoor people, this one is a good valued one that I will recommend. As I always comment, you buy this phone and brand because of some purposes, and you paid what you got.

I've been using doogee s88 plus for few days now and evrything look good to me except the camera in night time i realize the flash is not matching with the time of the camera capture that is why the image is so bad and blurry i think if doogee can adjust the time of image capture during the auto flash i think the image quality will be awesome

AnonD-731363, 27 Feb 2021Man camera is not important for everyone you know??? Some ... moreI agree. That is exactly why I got this phone, for its battery power. All I can say is that this entire phone a HUGE upgrade from my previous 3rd hand, 7 year old Huawei p8 lite. And at the price where my family pulled together and got it for my birthday! So even though this may not be the best phone for majority of the population, it's still a damn good phone for those that haven't had top range, end of the line devices before. I am happy to see more reviews being done on "lesser quality phones" because face it, we don't all need or desire a fancy HD camera increases the price of the phone to over the amount I paid for my first car. Sometimes we need more battery power because our county has regular load shedding and power outs.
