GCam will take care of that low light photo performance, my Mi 9T Pro takes better photos than that with GCam despite inferior hardware :)

With this release all A and My series from Samsung is doomed. A72 for example is set to be released at 450euros and specs are inferior.

Sony can. They need:
1) to close operations in Japan and move to China.
2) to design phones in China, use 90% of components made in China and assemble in China.
3) do not care about tests that make sure SAR is below 1.
4) to remove IP rating, trade gorilla 6 for 5, make UI show ads
5) to trade CPU 6xx for any 7xx, add RAM and storage from chinese maker instead of using better one from Samsung.
6) using battery from chinese company (not gonna waste time posting links of xiaomi phones explosions)
Done. You now have Sony phone that costs $120 to make and can be sold for $250. Like Many chinese ones.

This phone generates big artifacts on the letters in the Photo Quality Comparison tool Good Light and Low Light modes, like the text on the "ColorChecker" thing, makes this camera look bad in comparison with the Realme 7 Pro.

108 mp sensor potential ruins without OIS. I think placing such powerful sensor in this phone without OIS just raise price without getting much quality specially in dark situations. It’s time to manufactures bring ois to midranges and develop some other advanced technologies like sensor shift for their flagship grade phones.

To me Xiaomi always make some of the best modrangers and this is no exception always making some aof the best modrangers on the market and I'm very sure most will agree with me🏅🏅

But BOE has to pay fees to Samsung for pentile matrix.

I didn't know there were so many professional photographers here who can't afford dedicated cameras. I'd readily lose all the stupid secondary cameras including the selfie one and trade the main one for 48MP in exchange for a 5G+AMOLED smartphone in this same price class. But that's not what most people want (Or think they want).
If you want a camera-focused smartphone, go buy one. Or better yet, buy a camera. This is a screen-focused mid-ranger with otherwise quite decent all-around specs.

This is exactly why i made my comment cause i do check the prices and i do check the phones carefully and nowadays as i said the competition is very high and even midrange phones can do crazy things so there is no excuse anymore that a phone can be bad cause it's too cheap or cause it's just a midrange.
When the specs of a phone are already very good then you have to be very stupid to believe that this phone can't do much. In case of Xiaomi many phones have better image processing although the specs are the same and price is the same with other released a while ago but got forgotten and never got updated to improve their image processing.
Anyhow since you are smarter than me enjoy your purchase and i will enjoy mine. My thoughts were my thoughts.

Good for you if you think this way but fortunately i don't think like that. I prefer to save my money and buy something better later. Btw i don't buy it when people define themselves as poor people or mortals cause those are usually the victims spending the most.
There are many good and cheap phones out there like Realme which have better camera. Also Xiaomi releases from time to time cheap phones with better camera but it's a matter of luck as every month there is a new model and some of them have a better camera software which is very unfair for the others that have bad image processing although the specs are the same. And here is when i say typical Xiaomi never updates their camera software as it always remains the same for all of them no matter how bad it is.
If you want an example that will convince even you being a fan of Xiaomi well yes i was very happy with my Note 6 Pro which for me had better camera than Note 9 pro and i also believe that Poco phones have better image processing although the specs are similar to Note 9 Pro but there you go similar specs and still Note 9 Pro has not improved to be like the newer phones. They only change the settings and the UI a bit.
What you get from Xiaomi will always stay the same and this has nothing to do with price but marketing tricks so you fall into their trap and buy the next one.
