The rating is very generous, too many cons and a price hike really hurts the value, in India this phone has received a major price bump and doesn't even include wireless charging, OnePlus is now just oppo in disguise.

Overpriced. Gets a 4.3 in this review but I have never seen so much cons in a review from GSMArena.

>The main wide camera on the OnePlus 9 is the same Sony IMX689 borrowed from the OnePlus 8 Pro. It has a 48-megapixel resolution, 23mm equivalent lens with an f1.8 aperture, __and OIS__.
Two paragraphs below:
>Unlike the OnePlus 9 Pro or even the OnePlus 8T, the __OnePlus 9 does not have OIS__.

I was really hoping for a lot less lens distortion from the main camera, but it's as bad as on most other phone cameras. I might be going back to Apple this year.

beep bop boop, 23 Mar 2021the phone just launched, how did u review this quickly??? d... moremkbhd had it for 3 weeks. one plus always send a lot of review samples to important youtubers/reviewers.
i think them and google do this stuff and really send a ton of samples. other companies just send only to the important ones. but this is how people talk about you.

game over?
best line from the review:
The brakes on the OnePlus price hike train stopped working years ago and the company clearly has no plans on slowing down. So then why are things being taken away instead of being added?
