    My old Poco F1 had the best available chipset over 3 years ago. It has a headphone jack, an FM radio, expandable storage, better selfie camera (wider aperture for low light shots), and the main camera supports 4k@60 FPS on what is arguably a weaker chiset, unlike the F3 which only does 4K@30 FPS if the listed specs are to be believed.

    3 years later and this is the best that they could do?

    I'm not rushing to upgrade my F1 for this personally.

I thought between Poco F3 and Mi 10T and I think I'll go for Mi 10T. Those camera samples on Poco F3 are pretty bad and it's amoled brightness is not much better that ips brightness on Mi 10T. And at least Mi 10T doesn't overheat like Poco F3.

          So Xiaomi lied pretty much about it's display brightness. That's not good. And camera samples are pretty bad.

This year though a lot of upper midrangers/budget flagship phones are worse camerawise than predecessors or at best equivalent. The k40 pro+ top model is worse overall camerawise than the k30 Pro zoom, the same for the honor v40 versus v30, the nova 8 series is worse than the nova 7 and nova 6 for cameras, the reno 5 Pro is worse than the reno 4 pro. Screen quality and refresh rate seems to be the trend

                    F3 seems like a good phone but how is this a step up from the F2 Pro? I don't see any improvements apart from the screen refresh rate and slightly bumped up clock speeds. The f2 pro seems to have the better cameras, better video recording capabilities. Here's hoping the F3 Pro will be a true successor.

                            Wow, its officially a tyrannical, non-customer oriented industry.

                            They say, "Everything you need, nothing you don't" and then they make the microSD and 3.5mm jack disappear. Even a crippled front camera.
                            I guess, the industry will now tell us what we need.

                            GSMArena says its a writing on the wall, but who's writing it, may we have a clear idea?
                            It can't be customers, so is it industry, or the governments?

                              it's been a few months since i've gone to the dark side and i don't want to go back into using 3.5mm jack.
                              The sheer audio quality i'm getting from type-c headset is just too much ..

I and many others too will never buy a phone without a headphone jack or micro SD. Never have, never will. Remember, the world doesn't revolve around you. There are 7 billion people on this planet, and lots of them like headphone jacks 👍

                                  Gsmarena.... Why are you guys still using Antutu ver.8?? ver.9 is already out and gives a better idea about these Snapdragon 860,870,888 chips.

                                    Anonymous, 03 Apr 2021I'm kind of amazed that people who consider themselves... moreIts all about what you do with the phone, of course you will notice the difference between an 870 vs a 720 in gaming, not everyone buys an F3 for the best Photography, but i bought it for a supreme UI experience having 120Hz + SD870, phone will never lag, stutter or slowdown, i dont care if its photos are not amazing, it cost me around 350usd anyway.

                                        Why is this rated 4.1 to the x3 pros 4.2? This has a better screen, processor, battery life(surprisingly) and is much more sleek.
