Excellent phone overall but Samsung should have sticked to the three slots configuration (2 Sims and 1 SD) like the A70 and A71 instead of forcing potential buyers to choose between their second sim or their SD card.

Coming from a galaxy s9+ duos lilac purple Belgian variant with 64 gb of storage.
Lost "performance" and lots of functions that I never really used. 90 hertz for daily usage.
The other phone got battery software draining and even factory resetting by the recovery didn't do anything.
This A72 is awesome... why paying over 1000€ when we can have a phone for basic daily usage for ±400€

Along with a big battery (5000mAh powering a small 8nm SoC), it seems to be great for video production, aside from the apparent inconveniences (slow CPU, slow fingerprint scanning and slow charging). Great review, GSM!

Why did they ruin this series, smaller screen to body ratio, a horrible plastic back, not glastic rainbow effect, heavier, slower finger print reader. The A71 was way better. The new power brick charges slower, a full night with the new brick, 1 hour with the A71 brick.

Almost a little low than double the price. But if your market doesn't have such a huge difference then i would also prefer S20 FE

The scores depends ... moreMy thoughts exactly while this is no super flagship outside of super long intense gaming sessions no one would notice a difference this chipset is no slouch at all infact for perspective its as powerful as some mid range laptops minus the cooling solution which is what hampers smartphones in general and not to mention 720g has some really good modern api instructions

(Sigh) benchmarks aren't absolute. The scores depends on various factors including ambient temperature, Surface temperature, CPU and GPU Loads at the time of running benchmarks, background app management, software optimization etc. Even then benchmarks are meant to give you a fair idea of the device's capability. It shouldn't be taken at face value, real life performance is all that matters.
